This is the first day of the Major League Fishing Toyota Bass tournament, a professional bass fishing tournament where professional fisherman get together and compete to win $50,000 plus a new boat!! We had a blast out there. That's just how it works fishing Pro/Co Angler derbies. I had found the fish in the area and the goal is to dial in on them. Yes, I told my Co-Angler to cast up there with me multiple times and he was super nice - told me he wanted to let me fish it to do the best I could as the Pro-Boater in the tournament. We had a blast and an amazing day!

What a day of catching big spotted bass! Congrats on the 4lb spot that’s a huge spot I’ve never seen one that big. Hope you stick it to them on day two as well! It’s great that Codi and the babies are there to support you I’m sure it means a ton. Hope you and your family had blessed Valentine’s Day and Easter as well! Me and my wife and family did. It was great day. The Lord Jesus does deserve to be lifted high. He is definitely worthy. One of my favorite songs Chris Tomlin Is he worthy?

Felt sad for your co-angler. You front ended the hell out of the poor guy. Seemed like a nice guy too. And I “get” the boater vs non~boater rules. Spin the boat around and let the guy get his limit too. Geez

Nordbye is by far the best definitely pull for him everywhere!! But I partly agree with some of the comments.. with the boater / non boater .. the non boater most times from what I can tell gets the raw end and pretty much just pays to go fish with the Pro or learn something about a lake they’ve never been the non boater fish catching is pretty much non existent.. MLF should just do away with non boaters and the pro fish on there on. Cause there really just paying to be a net man .
