Since I have been off of work since February due to a back injury, I have been watching a lot of RU-vid videos and came across your channel. I really enjoy your Lake Mead report and viewing the lake and surrounding areas. I really enjoyed this video. I hope you continue making more videos like this.
Thank You so much for your kind comment' - We will keep bringing Adventures From the Lake to you. We hope your back injury recovers soon. Please take good care of yourself - Maria & Joey
Joey, if there is nobody to watch your bike there is nobody to steal it either. I would leave my bike locked up there. All that way and no photos of the water behind the dam. Getting old is a bugger. Thanks for the great video, you guys are the best!!!
Hi Michelle ' Yes it was a fun adventure for us as well.. All FREE for everyone to come enjoy! Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
Thank you SO MUCH for supporting the water report! I started it 2 Years ago and I feel like its part of my job now to provide the Weekly News for everyone here that cares! - Joey & Mara
You can be sure it's covered by security cameras. Also, not an easy place to escape from. If you vandalize something, they will catch you very easily by covering the few ways out. The grid is resilient. Even if you knocked out 100% of the wires, they'd just stop running water through it, and run it through after repairing the wires. The grid is resilient to generating stations being offline. They really only have to protect against attacks on the dam itself. Wires and transformers everywhere are vulnerable and can be replaced.
I know.. Maria had anxiety and was scared of the drop off especially on the ebike under power.. she kept her feet down off the pedals and was going so slow - Joey
This was just so wonderful. You know I love your part of the world and this intimate trip is a lovely Christmas gift. Blessings to you and Maria. Love from Canada.
Love your videos, Joey and Maria. I'm not ae bike owner, but you make it look so enticing. 65 and would love to go where the athletic young'ns go. Thank you Joey and Maria!
Yes the ebikes have opened up so many more possibilities for us to explore far away places and now we can take you along with us too ! - Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
Hi Joey and Maria you two are awesome I really hope lake mead recovers to full pool very soon love your water reports I hope everybody conserves as much water as possible have great day be safe out there
hiya Joey and Maria, your videos are a great slice of fun, we love watching the Lake Mead - trails. I agree with everyone, the 360 camera made the experience even more awe inspiring. love getting the water reports. thanks to you both!
What awesome vistas are being viewed. Wow I love this video. Trails to be walked, biked or run by people or people in training for whatever. Flat. Those containers yes, no rocks falling but also hard to rescue people & prevent lawsuits. Could someone bring an ATV? Or a Golf Cart? I am truly fascinated by this video. I am ancient but evidently I will find my way to a med bed to get healed completely. Then I would like to walk it or perhaps an electric bike. Only in Lake Mead . This is why it costs so much to enter Lake Mead. I am a NV resident but not local resident. Will check to see if senor pass will give me a discount. But winter is the best time to travel to see the Hot places. Hi Maria I see you are The Leader. Hi Joey Thankyou so much for this video & long comments.
Hi Michelle' I dont know about ATV but a electric scooter or Trike is fine.. Nobody complains we all just are kind to one another out there and share the beauty together - Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
Cool equipment display. Being a repairman so I go into places most others do not I find stuff like that here and there. Some are in buildings others in the middle of nowhere.
Back in the 60's we use to live in Boulder City. At that time I had a Cushman Eagle and my brother and I would ride pretty close down to the river on the low side of the dam below Boulder City. Could not get very far, but the canyon landscapes and draws were incredible. Incredible ride but spooky with a lot of bushwhacking. The old railroad trail that you started on was closed to foot, car, cycle traffic.
Hi Maria , hi Joey!! What a fun video ! I really enjoyed seeing the tunnels and the graveyard museum! I have to say after this video I am looking at e-bikes in a new light !! 😁
Such an awesome couple thank you for sharing your adventures always looking for something what you might have next so great can't wait to see more videos take care and God bless.
Hey Joey and Maria. Its interesting to know that there is a 'back stage ' trail to the dam. Thank you for the lake report and taking us along on your adventure.
Fantastic video Joey and Maria. It was awesome seeing the Lake Mead backroads and what a cool museum. The 360 camera made it even more amazing. It really does look like drone footage, even though it's not. Glad to see the lake is improving. Let's all hope and pray for another wet winter, as the lake still needs all the water it can get..
I came here for the ending theme - best one on the Internet - and got a great video for my trouble :) Really, this is totally interesting, the kind of thing you'd say "who'd a thunk it" until you brought it up! Then well narrated and talented use of that 360. Woohoo.
Wow, I'm really surprised the power plant is so accessible, given what's happened recently in a few places. Heck of a ride, thanks for taking us along.
Hey Bradley... It really makes exploring trails a breeze! Makes getting out and finding off grid places to trail blaze Fun again! - Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
Your morning and evening sun mirror each other. While the Sun is a direct visual object, higher frequency ultraviolet rises and peaks at noon, when it gives out a lot more power for solar panels. I recommend that solar panels face lower and more east and west, so you sacrifice total power, but have a longer duration of power, that batteries don't have to carry. Also, never wire lead batteries in parallel. Tiny differences in their voltages cause big grief. Every house or apartment should have a solar panel or two, for power outages. Thanks again Marie and Joey.
Love your bike ride on the scenic trail around the lake. Oh btw, my husband just bought an e-bike because of your great videos and reviews! You are a phenomenal influencer!!!
I miss your old reports on the dam seeing I’ve never been there I live in Massachusetts and I will never get there. So I see the dam and water through your camera .
Thanks for the adventure. Having a ebike surely changes the game. Even though not allowed the ebike sure would be nice on those zig zags. I will have to add that trail to my ebike bucket list. Not being able to walk, ebiking is the next best thing. Have a great day!
I've noticed when recording in 360 some of the clarity distorts upon uploads. I do enjoy giving the viewer the whole 360 experience. I do enjoy filming in actual 360 yet find the slower I move the clearer it is.
yes Indeed.. Since I have been reviewing ebikes' many of my Parents neighbors have purchased ebikes and have started going out more end enjoying the new freedom these bikes have provided for them - Joey
Greetings from Centennial Hills, I have been wanting to explore this trail for a long time and this has allowed me to know what to expect. Best video you have made, great job, love your lake reports and use them in conversations all the time. Dave
Hi Dave' - Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Hope you get out and enjoy these tunnels! Its marvelous especially early in the morning! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
That looks like a great ride . ??? does the battery hold up long enough ? I can do 30 miles with my battery. Magicycle Cruiser. This is information I would like to know Joey. never heard of this place😮 where can I enter and how long is it🤷 thanks love your videos. 🙋
Wow! I enjoyed the e-bike tour of Lake Mead/Hoover Dam. The camera work was really good while riding your e-bikes. You had some spectacular views of the marina that I thought were awesome! It was pretty neat that y'all took your e-bikes all the way till you could no longer use bicycles...and seeing some of the equipment that was used in the Hoover Dam. Did your e-bikes use 3-inch tires? Anyways, that was an awesome trip out to Lake Mead/Hoover Dam. P.S. Which e-bikes were y'all riding. I would like to view the reviews you made on those e-bikes.
Wow if I lived in Vegas I’d be exploring everywhere with my Talaria Mx4 lol or even my Onewheel. I see a lot of your reviews on e bikes lately. I myself have 3 of them. You should look into the Talaria it’s an electric dirt bike almost that goes 52mph unlocked if you want it to. Love your videos, much aloha and Happy Holidays to you Joey and Maria from Hawaii 🤙🏾
Mahalo and thank you brother! Vegas stands with Hawaii! - Thank you again for joining us and coming along this morning on a NEW adventure! - Maria & Joey 🌺🌴👋
You have a lot of faith in those bicycle batteries. How far was the uphill ride ? and What was the battery power level ? Great video ! I enjoyed the tour.
At the power grid, you touched a generator's turbine wheel. the blades looked bent, bent by pressure or a camera lens refraction? The power of the water has the capability of doing this. Just wondering. Amazing trip. Thanks for the info.
