i think you should also be telling us how different car models performed on different terrains.. id love to know how the sbr xt and xtrail handled the rough terrain on the Ethiopia trip
Both the XT and the Xtrail did very well. The XT has already done 3 different tough trips with us and has not skipped a beat. It has a sump guard to protect its vitals underneath the car from rocks etc. It has Road Cruza All Terrain tires. It also has front and rear steel lip guards to protect the front and rear bumpers. Both also carried spare parts that are likely to be needed and which except for a radiator cap and a stabilizer link, were not needed.
