This video features my recent trip to the Lake of Menteith on a beautiful autumn day.
I really enjoyed my day, and the fight from the fish was just crazy. A great day enjoyed with my favourite boat partner, my dad.

I think at 5.01 mins a huge pike just swims by as you take the perch out the water!!😮

Hi mate just watching this video again and have a look at around 4:58 as you bring that perch in there was a decent size pike following it and you see it turn and swim away as it sees you cracking

Yeah a few people pointed that out, great to see that! I didn’t even notice on the day or when editing! Note to self, just met them to release - can you imagine if it had taken it whilst I was unhooking over the water! 😂

Yeah, someone else pointed it out but I didn’t notice at the time - glad it didn’t take the perch whilst I was unhooking over the water 😂 🐊

I was using my vision onki rods - a 10 foot 7 weight and 9 foot 6” 6 weight - great rods! 👍🏻
