Its early ICE FISHING time on Lake of the Woods 2023. I went out just prior to a cold front dropping in. A bluebird day turned into a mini blizzard, but it turned the fish ON! Ive also got a new recipe to share for some Lake of the Woods Walleyes!

Smoking some meats like brisket mustard is often used as a binder for your rub. Makes sense to use it for breading or batters

@jeffjackson5331 snowed a little bit and it was whiteout at time. Battery crapped out on the sled so it wiped out my GPS, just took it slow and all was well. Thanks for checking in my friend

Are you using braid? How much ice? I am heading up to LRL in January hoping for good ice to get out a few miles. Thanks for the video

Most of my rods I use 10lb braid with a flouro leader. Up at the angle I found 9-10 inches. Now that can vary greatly depending on where you go. Ice is slowly growing

Personally, i would much rather see what is happening on the sonar screen than the overhead view, if you are looking for something to do with the extra camera.
