@@ItsaGuidesLife - I sure will drop a lake report here and there. Haven't done any fishing over the summer since it's like living in Africa here in the summer but we start back up on October 9th for the Roland Tournament Trail. I'll stay in touch for sure.
Thank you so much and God Bless you Dave. I’ve fished Okeechobee 3-4 weeks a year since I was 14 since my aunt has a place in Buckhead Ridge. I was catching those 6s and 8s in Harney Pond and really had em figured out with the clear water and hydrilla but I haven’t had any good fishing since about 2016. It can still be hot and heavy on the shad spawn on King’s bar in the summer but its not a long bite and they are all small. I appreciate your advice on those other lakes and we live on the north end so I’ll definitely check those out until Okeechobee stops getting sprayed. I’ve always loved your channel man. Thank you again.

You are right The Big O has been going down hill ever since 2014 when I first went but I still head down every winter the fishing and weather is definitely better than in Md. that time of year lol. Speaking of ox blood beavers I still have the unopened bag you gave me on our last trip. I hold on to them for luck and to remind me of how much I enjoyed our trip and what you taught me about fishing the lake. You and Joanna take care and stay safe.
Hey Captain good to hear from ya Im the big guy from Ohio that me and my cousin Bob came to your house in Florida and you offered us a piece of cake been going thru alot this yr had a blood clot that breached both lungs that almost killed me then I got gangreen that was life or death too still recoverying from it then back in my I rolled my lawn mower and broke my neck & ribs been a helluva yr for me defied death 3 times this yr
