Lake Pleasant Fishing!(Exploring)

How crazy that I catch a random Lake Pleasant video with the shad I accidentally hooked on top its head! I can show you on a map exactly where you were when that guy spiraled over to you, after getting dome hooked on a 6XD crank bait treble hook. I felt horrible and was hoping a big fish would take him for breakfast. I am going out this weekend to Pleasant with the yak in my photo, I go almost every weekend. The lake is super low right now but I can put you on the bite, without electronics. Bring crank baits for large mouth, spoons for stripers, and jigs for the grass. Big flukes strolling have been killing it lately too. I leave from the Helm's Island area, the cove south of the boat ramp, 6am every Saturday. You can drive your truck up to the water to launch. (google map "desert breeze kayaking") I hit the bank on the west side all the way up into French Creek area and circle back down along the top of the lake then cut back across to the boat ramp area.
