BTW....a great early perch technique is to cast Slab Grabbers...let em hit bottom and short hop or snap em back....you may be shocked.

Thanks for the report, John. It was good seeing you today. Like you said, the perch can be hit or miss. I struck out at the island and the Metropark today, but tomorrow’s another day

It’s technically open but the mouth is extremely shallow. Getting reports of only 1’ of water between the points. They are supposed to be on-site this week to evaluate the situation.
