Wow Ric! Nice unakite! That agate is beautiful! Gorgeous epidote and quartz! That apple fritter looked so good! That second place you guys went is cool. A neat hike in and so many rocks! Wow, just the water running over the rocks, wetting them. You are used to them but for some of us that dont see that everyday, those rocks are gorgeous! So many colors and textures, its amazing! So beautiful. That pretty pink and white rock looked interesting. The third spot was neat too! Gorgeous view! The rocks are interesting but no agates. I like the green and sparkly! And its back to the regular spot! huge unakite! nice agates! So pretty. And yep, Penny found the agate of the day! Beautiful.Yep, thats some awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing you two!
Hi Lisa, if you don’t get any of those rocks in your area, I would gladly send you some, or we can do a rock trade if you like 🤘😎🤘and thx as always for the amazing compliments, you rock!!
@@RockAndRollRockhound I dont get any of the rocks that you consider ordinary! Just the regular old river rocks to you is gorgeous displays of colors and textures, that here on the west coast, we dont see! Our river rocks are plain basalt and the occasional chunk of chalcedony or quartz! Just the amounts of different types and colors of your river rocks or lake rocks, is amazing. Not even the agates, just the lake rocks. They are gorgeous!
@@largent45 I thought there was lots of cool stuff on the west coast. Pet wood, thunder eggs, geodes, quartz crystals etc. I will still send you some rocks if you like. Do you have a tumbler?
@@RockAndRollRockhound I do have a tumbler. And there is all kinds of different materials you can get ott here. I was just talking mainly about the rivers and even the oceans around here. Most of the good material is far interior, on the oregon/idaho border and the south eastern ends of the state. our rivers and ocean has no beautiful rocks like your. Tell you what, im suppose to go rock hounding with my son and daughter in oct or early nov, to the polkadot mine. Hold up sending me a box, and we will do a rock exchange when i get some material to send you.
@@RockAndRollRockhound ill have to do a trip out with you guys next summer, my RU-vid has been on the back burner for a while but im looking forward to doing some new videos next summer hopefully. Do you guys have an Instagram page?
Such a beautiful area except those vampire mozzie's so many rocks to look through but you found some beauties in amongst them and the agates beautiful thanks for sharing 👍
We took that trip last year and stopped at the same apple fritter place. I think we may even been to that beach! The rocks were amazing. Thanks for sharing your video.
Love this! Stunning rocks and charming hosts. I’d love it even more without music playing over the sounds of the waves on the beach. You can’t please everyone though, I know. And RU-vid viewers can be fussy folks. Happy to be a new subscriber.
Wow thx so much!! I’m still experimenting with music tracks or my drums. And you are right, no music while I’m talking. Thanks so much for subscribing!!
beautifiul specimens... im dissapointed in my self.. all the times during my 20s going fishing in WAWA and taking the many canoe trips on the shores of lake superior, I never looked for rocks.. by the way whats the name of the last song in this video... thx
Thx for watching. I just picked this hobby a few years ago myself lol. Wish I would have done it earlier, but by the amount of rocks I have now, I’m glad I didn’t lol. All my music is usually from bensound.com. I think that one is called Hey.!Have a great weekend and thx for the sub!
Hello my friend, you gotta make the journey up here one day! Once we start finding them, sometimes they keep on coming lol. It was a good day for sure. Stay cool Wil 🤘😎🤘
I found a few yesterday small and in matrix but hey 🤷♀️I’m having luck at the crown land spot just past mamainse, found more this summer than anywhere else. My profile picture is one I found at Point Des Chenes of all places. Happy hunting 💙
Would you mind messaging me where the last beach was? I’m driving 8 and half hours to look for some agates next week and the first few road cuts look like where I have marked but it doesn’t look like there was much of anything there lol. I would really appreciate it!! 🩷
