Nothing is more pathetic than watching Lebron bowl over people on one end and act like the big tough guy, and then on the other end get slightly brushed on the hip by a guy 3/4 his size and act like he was the victim of a war crime.
Too bad their isnt a reicarnation of Bill Laimbeer playing to actually lay him the fuck out for real, give him something to actually cry about. I'd pay a kings ransom to see that.
@@donaldcummings8407 years ago there was the bulls game where the guy shoved him and Lebron decided to fly across the entire court like he was tossed by the incredible hulk. I can only imagine the theatrics if he were ever to really be hit
Dude, LeBron would look like Tom Cruise on Mission Impossible...getting thrown into cars from concussion blasts if someone even breathes on him. Whoooooah, whooooah, whooooah?????!!!!? Like an air breach on an airplane, sucking everything out.
It shows some kind of breakdown in revenue that is dependent on star players. Lebron must have crazy leverage to be able to make the NBA bend to his will. They must be so dependent on Lebron for the brand. So much corruption.
@@Plutux878 They make these huge mega brands and then they have to try to maintain/ sustain them as long as they can. Bit in the meantime, they can't promote any other players. Their whole soap opera becomes THE LEBRON SHOW!
This is an absolute disgrace. I grew up in Australia playing high school ball in the 90s. We had all the shoving, hand checking etc as well as putting up with cheap shots. Everyone used to look at the NBA as the gold standard. Now it’s just a joke. These guys fall over if you sneeze on them. What an embarrassment. Our kangaroos are tougher than these guys.
My grandfather was a NCAA ref in the 1970s and 80s. He took me to countless college and NBA games. All through the 2000s up until the year he died, 2012, he couldn't stand the way the game was being called. The way offensive players were barreling into defenders while out of control and getting foul calls was the thing he complained about the most. Look him up if ya want. His name was Richard Weiler. He refereed 675 big ten games and 5 final fours. Plus the Rose Bowl in football. Id imagine he wouldn't even be able to watch basketball today if he was still alive considering how awful the refs have become.
It's clear the league needed to get their dumpster fire to .500 and by any means necessary. How else can they explain this shit. It is amazing that after such a HUGE disparity in calls they still only beat the Raptors by ONE! They had to cheat to beat a 15-23 team.
That game was possibly the most embarrassing game of officiating I’ve ever seen in sports. I’m in my 40s, and I’ve been a hardcore sports fan since I was younger than 10. I watch probably 5-6 NBA games a week, 3-5 NHL games a week, and 2-4 NFL or CFL games a week. I also watch every UFC event, many Bellator, BKFC, and other combat events. I watch tennis, soccer, some MLB here and there, mostly playoffs. I watch as much Olympics as I can, both summer and winter. All this to say I’ve watched countless hours of sports in my life. And this game was the strongest argument I’ve ever seen in my lifetime for professional sports (the big four) being rigged, or having some CLEAR and obvious favouritism towards one team. This was embarrassing for the NBA. And the Lakers players and entire staff should be ashamed of themselves as well for all the flopping. Fuckin Reddish gets an incidental elbow to the chin, and he goes down holding the top of his head. What a bitch. And don’t get me started on all the diving Davis was doing. Fuckin the Lakers.
Same! I watch the underhyped NBA games though like the Spurs vs Jazz last night. That was a fun game with maybe 2 flops at the most. My Cavs beat the Wizards last night and that was fun. Lakers, Suns, Bucks, Mavericks, and Warriors are on my don’t care list. All the top stars with overblown favoritism in officiating and countless flopping turns it into the WWE. However I’ll watch the Timberwolves and Nuggets from time to time though. Jokic and Murray are pure golden age basketball without all the flash and antics to get unearned fouls.
You point out well how Lebron simply stands around not guarding anyone to save energy. Perhaps you mentioned in another video I've missed. His main objective is not resting; it's solely a bonus. What better way to stat pad and snag rebounds when your concentration is solely on the ball and not wasted on guarding an opposing player.
This is without a doubt the best breakdown of this 4th quarter iv seen on youtube to date. Very well done. Id love to see lakers fans defend the refs after watching this video lol. Adam Silver needs to give this a watch and demote every ref involved to the G league. The fix was in. Edit: i was only half way through the video with my original comment but damn it just got worse and worse. Very well done video.
Plenty of us are sick of Lebum's BS. Can't wait until he retires. I was praying he would've this year. But knowing the NBA, they will just find someone else to go balls deep on and pull the same stupid crap.
Earlier in the game prince undercut siakam’s legs on a layup with SPEED and it was reviewed but called a common foul. All ballers know that is one of the most dangerous plays in bball. But Ben Taylor the polo player thinks that elbow with SPEED was more flagrant.
So true. "When people join Lebron's teams they become unlikeable". Remember Matthew Dellavedova? What happened to his fearless, kamikaze defense when he left Cleveland? He was diving into people's knees every night and getting PRAISED for it! Once he signed with Milwaukee he played totally different.
Rj just got fined for “flopping” the day after they played Utah. He literally just fell forward but the lakers are all flailing and flopping around. Good job NBA
I kept watching only because I was hoping the Raptors can screw them over even with the refs trying to make the Lakers win. They almost did it too. All that help from the refs, and the Lakers only win by one? Thats the funniest part of it all. They could barely win even with the refs help.
one thing i've noticed in this game was the late whistles for the lakers. it was like the refs waited to see if the lakers make the shot, and only if they missed, they gave them the BS call. one of those was that reaves call. another one for lebron (3rd qr 11:08), and one for davis (4th 4:00).
I watched that game in real time and your analysis is spot on. This has been the curse ofvthe Raptors franchise since its inception. The NBA never has and never will respect Toronto as a team nor as a market. Throughout the years players know that this team is at a disadvantage due to officials. Last year Fred Vanvleet expressed his frustration and then left. The finals victory in 2019 was more a case of Golden State's injured stars , because the refs sure weren't going to give them a chip over KD. 😂
Its true just look at how OG is being treated since the trade now they can't stop singing his praises but when he was a Raptor there was no respect. Its really sad how the Raptors are treated.
This sadly is the reality of our lives... it boils down to money. There are markets that warrant more respect and the league's goal is to have these markets featured during their prime time TV periods. The Christmas Day schedule features these teams, playoffs features these teams. Key players are moved to these teams. Do we ever wonder why even when the Lakers are trash they still get featured? Small markets like Denver, OKC will have a short run but will never be dynasties unless players sacrifice money. The league will move major players to the favored markets. Toronto is a very large market but has no impact financially to US media because the Canadian media has first call... therfore they are treated like a red headed stepchild.
It takes another foreigner from overseas to try and save the league, this time a coach. Also good job at showing even Lakers announcers start noticing a fix is in.
You may just ruin the game of basketball for him. Seeing games like this is so disappointing. Watching this video after watching the game live was really hard. It ruins the game for everyone. The players who get screwed over, the players who win thinking they were good enough to win when they weren't, the fans who paid to watch a highly entertaining game until the refs decided to ruin it, it's a losing situation for everyone. That could've been one of the most entertaining games of the year if it wasn't for those damn refs. It was constant action, back and forth lead changes, it had everything.
Excellent video!!!! Kudos to you, my brother, for taking the time to put this important video together!!! The only things missing were the two headbutts by LeBrick. He committed 3 fouls (including his finishing headbutt) and a travel on one play! He reminds me of some boxers who would lead with their heads. Again, great video/breakdown of what's REALLY going on.😊
I watched this game live, being a Raptors fan. I was livid by the end of the game, yelling at the tv lol So many ridiculous calls and non calls. I think Ben Taylor (the ref) has a bit of a heavier wallet for rigging that game for the Lakers to win. A payout was made somewhere for sure.
Every time I watch this kind of footage and I remember how dominant as a defender Michael Jordan still was age 38 to 40, I really ask myself how is it possible that people don’t understand that not only LBJ is not the second best player of all time but he is barely in the top five only for his longevity, and for what he won on paper, because if I have to trust only my eyes he is just a big guy with a lot of muscles that scores a lot of points uncontested under the rim which if you are that tall and big it’s not that hard to do now a days in the NBA why his physical gift, but Karl Malone was that big but he was also able to shoot from more than 3 feet. C’mon on, this should be an elite defender? Because Michael Jordan was an elite defender and was the greatest score of all time so unless you are a great defender and a great scorer, you can’t even be compared to Michael and that’s why Kobe can be compared to Michael much more reasonably than LeBron.
I’ve concluded that Bron is a bit lazy and has been coddled most of his athletic life. Told how great he is and he believes it to the point that now he actually thinks he is “chosen” and has said so. This a person detached from reality surrounded by his entourage of yes men and fluffers.
Bron is not top 10, and barely top 20.. He's going lower when videos like these exist.. He will get exposed so much that he'll be surpassed by Curry(not a top 5 pg) eventually
@ 6:01 … Hillarious “ Lebron says “ we don’t teach flopping here” like who says that? i’ll tel you who, people who are indeed practicing flopping” lololol
Imagine if a cop ringed a bell on someone's door and when he opened the door the first thing he said to the cop was "we don't have cocaine here, I don't consume cocaine" without being asked about any drugs. The cop would immediately know that this person indeed has cocaine
No way he was hit. When you"re hit like that, your head goes backwards. His head didnn't move at all Haven't watched such a rigged game in years and years...
@FoxOPC at closer look, he took a glancing hit. But I'd always thought in that situation it's the defensive players' fault. He was gathering to shoot. If that was his hand, that's a foul on the defense.
At 9:15 Anthony Davis was doing Tim Duncan's old move by putting his hand over his opponent shoulder and pushing down that stops his opponent from getting elevation in his jump so it's easier to block his shot.... The Lakers know all the tricks. It is the city of acting you know
Good analysis, this is exactly the reason why many stop caring the nba. I think the only way to stop the league from doing it is for more people to stop watching, specially the laker fans.
You lost credibility exactly 0:27 seconds into this video. The switch occurred because they had a man on the line. If Lebron would of moved they would have fake and passed the ball to the open scorer, and he would of made that shot and kept running the same play till they won the game. It was a trap play that forced the defense into iso. If you hate someone that much and they don't know you. Lol, that's your problem, but if you're talking about how refrees are officiating, that's old. In every sport, there is something going on with the refree. I give this video 4 thumbs down.
Why are we even surprised anymore. This is on par for the bum and anyone who plays for him. Lebron: You wanna be a Laker? Team: Yea! Lebron: "Alright, let's go over a few house rules. We do NOT play standard basketball here. This is L.A., the land of Hollywood, understand? Team: Yea.. Lebron: It's the land of big lights, fights and nothing is right, got it? Which means you're gunna learn to put on a show...the biggest show! Y'all got me? Team: Yea..I guess D-Lo: But I was here before, what you mean act? Kobe didn't act, he just played the game. Lebron: Shut it up fool! Don't EVER say his name around me! I itch BAD when I hear that man's name! Look at you...got my psoriasis popping outta control! Aye A.D., hand me my Hydrocortisone...the one with the HGH mixed widdit...rub it in right here...yea, just like that. Now, where was I...oh, yeah, ACTING! You gunna learn to flop just like me, yell at the refs like me, lie like me, be reduced to one solid move. Got it? I run the show, take all the shots and get all the fame and glory. When I need you, I'll let you know. Questions? Reeves: So, let me get this right, we basically are playing bad basketball for the sake of your career, TikTok highlights and putting on a show for the fans...while I'm supposed to forfeit my entire college career? Lebron: Bingo! You got it. Trust me, It's gunna get us in the playoffs....I got this thing down to a science.
How can you not? He's been in beast mode, and only gonna get better. He was lighting up Lebron all game until the refs had enough of it. Dude is gonna be a super star.
That elbow hit his chin. In boxing it's referred to as "the button". Meaning the on/off button. Shots on the chin cause knock outs. I've listened to hours of your videos and this is the only thing I disagree with. LeBron playes basketball like a rhythmless bodybuilder.
Hahaha “You can have it all, my empire of dirt. I will let you down, I will make you hurt.” Or even more for the league…”what have I become? My sweetest friend. Everyone I know goes away in the end.” And this is perfect because the league is full of itself and the fans are leaving. I dont know if that is why you picked this song but I hope I figured it out hahaha. Thats great.
The reddish elbow to the face is absolutely an offensive foul and flagrant. I agree with most of the rest but this is how I can tell you've never played ball, elbows like this can completely shatter someones jaw or lead to an concussion. The last thing players want is the ability to swing elbows on drives. It's trash.
I actually stopped watching the NBA when Jordan retired for the final time. I haven't seen a single game since LeDouche started. The highlight reels tell me all I need to know.
As a Raptors fan watching even during the Bosh, Bargnani and Young Demar and Lowry years, this was gut wrenching. Hard to watch Raptors games. Even during their finals run, CDN game commenters were saying they need a 10-15 lead going into the fourth so refs can’t bail the other teams they played and officiate it so Raptors would lose a close game. Loved the honesty, which is what some or most of NBA fans are thinking, however the NBA game is too predictable and athletes can’t do what they are paid to do - play for real and entertain. It’s just a “kids game”, now more than ever it’s product. 🙏
If the raptors miss the play in by one or two games then the NBA should pay the org a massive fine. Like something along the lines of the entire Lakers payroll for the year.
The sad thing is Adam SIlver and the league will never take accountability for this ridiculousness. They are probably praying it disappears and gets forgotten about, so they can keep rigging games in Lebron's favour.
the non call on reaves with 1:12 is the exact same play from the celtics vs min game on wed at the end of regulation. in the celtics game it was called a foul on white.
shocking how someone who never played in the NBA critiques the way a player plays, especially the one who has the most points, ever, while acting like there are no highlight videos of lebron showing he like many players in the NBA deserve respect....yet haters gonna hate, making 5 figures
Gosh, I was just in the comments section of one of your other videos, pointing out the longstanding history of Bron Bron's favorite tactic of lowering his shoulder with the knowledge that the refs will ultimately bail him out, and someone accused me of never even having watched Bronny Bronarino play before. Tbf, as he has gotten older and more injury prone, he has definitely gone to the flopping like a fish out of water play as opposed to the human pinball routine, however the video evidence doesn't lie here. It clearly is what it is.
The nba did their review. They admitted that there was two missed calls. These two missed calls were in favour of the raptors. Therefore the raptors as per the nba got the benefit of the whistle. Lol I think this is how the nba as well as how Israel regulates themselves.
Does the NBA have a players union where any, or all teams can request investigations into BS like this? I say that as F1 racing has that. Some, or all F1 teams can file complaints about advantages other teams make that they deem unfair. And even if the investigations are not implemented, it still tends to make it's point and show the world the problem.
Thanks for the work you put in for all this AOH. It can't be easy going through game after game like this. I would actually love to see you break down some old school games and show some good basketball skills from MJ, Bird, Magic, and others. It would be great to have the comparison and it might save your sanity...at least a little...
Thanks for your amazing reveal video. Most often I question why the Raptors even bother to play in the nba. Because most nights they are competing against both their opponents and the refs. Seems the refs see our games as a USA vs Canada game. 🤔🤔
It shouldn't have even been called if rip-throughs are considered defensive fouls. It's the defenders responsibility to avoid the contact right? That's what all the guys say in defense of the Chris Paul rip-through. If someone is euro-stepping past you and your head clips their arm it should have been an and1 by their logic😂
Already I've seen legitimate questions about the bad officiating and I think it's about the legalized gambling and I think the refs got money on the bucks tonight
It would've been funny if Quickly driving on Reddish had done the "too small" gesture since he clearly laid him out so hard with a little elbow. Plus he was gonna foul out anyway so might as well go out gloriously 😂
This was brilliant. Thank-you as someone who used to love the Lakers, I can't even watch them anymore.... this is the kind of commentary that should be on ESPN, or Charles should be calling out..
I’m from Toronto and a die hard raptors fan. After this game, I never watched an NBA game again. No post season or NBA finals, this year I will do the same. I’m done with the NBA and Adam silver should be ashamed for ruining the game I once loved.
If I would be a Lakers fan I would just walk out of this shitshow of a game. Winning in this style? It is just embarrassing. I am watching Basketball game or russell mania wwe? How refs and LA players look in the mirror after this? Fuck... I am disgusted by it. My heart goes to Toronto fans, then true LA fans cos I know how you feel about this situation, and True basketball fans for whom true sportsmanship matters.
According to betting companies Lakers are favorites for today's game 3 of round 1 2024 playoffs Denver vs Lakers. I can't imagine that possibly being the case unless the betting companies know the NBA wants to rig the game in favor of the Lakers. After the first 2 games it is obvious that Nuggets are a much better team that can have a bad night and still beat the Lakers when the Lakers have a good night.
He was going up for the shot. Maybe take him out of the game for several days to weeks in case of a concussion?!? Ive seen Lebron go up and elbow guys in the face, with elbow facing them and not the basket. I dont even know how much of a flop it was with Tyler Hero when Lebron had towards him to elbow him while LEBRON had the fast break. Hits him, and has to angle back to the basket. That was nuts.
