You solve the Rui issue by moving him to the second unit, as a off the bench PF(4). This gives the Lakers a quality player to spell LeBron, AND helps the Lakers with their lackluster bench production. I like Brown. But, trading 3 players, for one guy, is a lot. Unless they have comparable players lined up to replace the ones lost.

Bruce Brown would definitely work for the LAL because that's pretty much the type of players the lakers need more of, along with other veteran role players. However, trading 3 good players for ONE role player is kinda ridiculous in my opinion, and is gonna limit the amount of money you can pay someone else if they're attempting to draw in another high profile allstar-level piece. I heard that Derozan might be leaning towards LA this offseason...so idk much about that but I feel like that's a wayyy better bet. And then acquire a couple more bigs like Andre Drummond and Dwight Howard, maybe Alex Caruso, and keep Vanderbilt, C-Wood, Vincent, Rui, Austin, JHS, and Cam Reddish.

I would look at marcus smart first a good defender. That's my second person I would look at. My starters would be. A.D. L.B.J. Vanderbilt. Smart if the price is right. Then we have plenty of point guards so who ever wins the battle for the point guard position. I like your choice for a back up center. I like gogo better for teams like Denver.

Sign Valanciunas or Drummond with our tax payer mid level for around 5.5 million, Draft Bronny in the 2cd round. Package Gabe & a unprotected 1st for Caruso & use our other first along with Shafino, Hayes & Reddish's contracts combined to chase a solid 10 - 11 million a year player that fits more of what we need. Lastly, sign Bol Bol as this years reclamation project player.
