Lebron should have passed the ball to Anthony Davis because he is very wide open on 3. Lebron should have not force that shot especially during clutch. At least they have a better chance to shoot that ball successfully if he passed that ball to AD. That's what happens when someone on the team tried to be a forced hero ball
When Lebron Takes the Shot, “he wants to be Jordan, he can’t finish” When He passes to someone, “he’s too afraid to take it” You win some you lose some
For those wondering to what extent the officiating impacted the game, I've completed a full game 4 analysis. 11:42 left in the 1st, Reaves was fouled on a 3 and no call, MPJ goaltended Rui with 10:34 left in the 1st deemed a good block, two points stolen, LeBron whacked in the face 9:27 left ruled a common foul when Murray earned a flagrant for the same play, I don't think it should have been flagrant but a startling inconsistency, AD hacked by Jokic on a drive with 9:03 left, not called and Joker would have fouled out as well as the two free throws, Schroder clean swipe all ball on Murray and off Murray 7:55 left, Schroder called for a foul and Den incorrectly retains possession and makes 2 they didn't deserve, Aaron Gordon tip in with 6:52 left was still inside the cylinder, actually over the rim, not like when AD was called for inside the cylinder in game 2 on the shot off to the side of the rim. 2 pts incorrectly awarded to Denver, AD called for a foul on MPJ with 3:08 left in the 1st, completely bailed out by refs, not valid contact, 2 pts added incorrectly, Murray traveled on a pivot move with 56 secs left in the 1st but this one was probably not cheating, often these go uncalled in the NBA, Jeff Green hooks Lonnie with 1 sec left and they call a foul on Lonnie, two free throws made, should've been no call or foul on Green. That is all just the 1st quarter, it gets much worse unfortunately. I searched for calls for the Nuggets as well, none in the 1st, two total for the game, only one which impacted the score. Joker committed 8 fouls minimum this game, could easily argue 9. If someone drops a like, I'll leave the rest of my 46 minute report analysis for this game. I'd be happy to share the other three games as well but it's pretty eye-opening I must warn you.
Thanks for the like! More analysis coming up, I spent time trying to be fair to both teams believe it or not, was shocked by the results. I am timestamping everything so you can review the plays yourself and confirm for accuracy. You can also notify me of your own plays if you feel I missed something for Denver. Onto 2nd quarter, Murray double dribbles with 10:33 left putting the moves on Tristan Thompson. Stops the ball in his hand for a second then does a stepback, this one is forgivable as NBA players often get away with this. However, Joker also traveled twice with 8:45 left, once on the catch and once again on his stepback to a made 3. Jeff Van Gundy even noticed this and called it out. AD was obviously shoved by Jokic on a lob with 7:15 left, should have been Jokers 7th foul in the game so far and two free throws for AD. AD was called for a defensive 3 seconds with 5:29 left in the 2nd despite stepping out of the key at 5:31 and doing so again as he was being called for the violation to appease Coach Malone. Aaron Gordon's foot appeared to be on the line on a 3 with 3:11 left, awarded a 3 and never updated. I'm not 100% on this one though, they never showed a replay and refs never looked at it. But Joker was fouled by Rui in the post with 48 seconds left and it wasn't called. This one had no effect on the score though as it would have just been a side out foul and AG made a dunk on the play anyway. After the first half I've calculated about a 22 point score impact on just these plays meaning Lakers would have been up by 37 at the half instead of only 15. But wait, there's more, somehow that was only the 1st half. AD called for another defensive 3 with 10:34 left despite stepping out at 10:36 and doing so again as they called the violation. Murray lowers his shoulder into Schroder with 10:29 left to create space and get his shot off cleanly. Dennis flopped on the play but I felt this one should have still been a foul though creating space with illegal contact. MPJ charged into Reaves for the third time this series with 9:44 left in the 3rd, this one was at least a no call instead of a blocking foul, but two points awarded which shouldn't have. AD fouled by Jokic with 9:25 left, lot of arm and body contact. This one not only led to lacking two free throws and the 8th foul on Joker but also led to a transition opportunity for Denver 5 on 4 with AD on the ground, easy two for Denver on the other end. There were a few plays that the players/announcers felt the Lakers were fouled after that but I disagreed with most, there was contact but not that much and often initiated by Lal and I didnt mind them letting it go. But with 12 seconds left Lebron was fouled on the arm by Joker for his 9th foul. This one probably should have been called but refs often don't call these if the player makes the layup anyway so not too egregious to miss this one. That's it for the 2nd and 3rd quarter, the 4th actually wasn't too bad. Murray did step out on a save with 7:30 left which led to two points for Denver. We already know about Denver incorrectly getting possession twice in the last two minutes from the NBA last 2 min report. I would include though that KCP did travel after the shot clock violation wasn't called but the refs probably let that go because they realized they should have called a shot clock violation. Overall, I calculated around a 37 point swing in this game meaning Lakers would win by 35 if every play was called correctly. That includes calculating only 1.5 point instead if two on not getting the two free throws if we only shoot 75% from the line and other things like that. I estimate Lakers would've won by around 25 if just the more egregious mistakes had been corrected. Pretty eye-opening, game 2 was almost as lopsided as game 4 and game 1 was pretty bad as wel but not as bad as the others. Game 3 mistakes were made on both sides I felt, not too bad either way, slightly disadvantaged Denver actually.

That's the million dollar question ain't it? Less than a minute left on the game clock, the Lakers are DOWN BY 2 points ---- and LeBron James is WALKING THE BALL up the court as if his team has a 10 point lead!!.. How long has this cat been playing basketball? Then, if that wasn't bad enough; once he FINALLY gets the ball past half-court, he DRIBBLES, DRIBBLES, & DRIBBLES SOME MORE until the 24 second clock is down to less than 4 seconds WITHOUT getting a single shot at the basket.. Hell, you saw the damn game so you know I ain't lying!! THEN, if that wasn't enough to be inducted into the "Hall of Shame" (on the 1st ballot) ----- as the 24 second clock is about to expire, he proceeds to hit THE SIDE OF THE BACKBOARD on a step-back semi-baseline jumper that was well contested by Aaron Gordon.. WTF? Are you kidding me? This guy is supposed to have a super-high basketball IQ.. Meanwhile, the other 4 Lakers on the court are just STANDING THERE, dumbfounded, as they watch him literally throw the game away all by himself.. No hate, no shade, just facts.. You dig?

Yea I saw that as well not a team player and in game 3 he left the court before the game ended and I thought you can't do that but he did so entitled I'm happy for Denver
That's exactly what I was thinking. MJ got swept twice on the first round. Lebron, 1 on the conference finals, and 2 in the finals, where it counts the most.
They tried, they still tried to keep LAL alive, two doubtful offensive fouls, missing Davis offensive foul on the rebound for the tie. But..... Karma is Karma.
@@melvincarter9640 Which one!?!? LAL are out and that thread is over. Why do you think that karma is brough forward to the Finals? Did Denver got two or three "kindness" to their advantage as the "King"'s team? I think not, but, challenge accepted

Actually at the last minute LBJ is playing hero by taking the ball too long in his possession instead of finding open shot for team mate, then take charge for a side court shot when running out of time that hit the side board. LBJ has tried two force shots at the dying second of the game that disappoint Lakers fans
when he shoots a three or finds an man, hes 'afraid to take the last shot'. when he takes the last shot, he 'made the wrong play'. you win some you lose some :P
@@ilovepaprika9441 Lebron could’ve taken the 3pt shot since he’s 4/7 from three and that’s a 2 for one. That should be a quick two or he took challenge to take the three but instead wasted time just to pass to a non open guy. 32 year old Lebron James would taken it to the basket and draw a foul but he’s already gasping and played 48mins. Blame AD, Rui, Dlo for inconsistent game. There are shots Rui is making with ease but did not fall, point blank layup, patented midrange. Dlo couldn’t even hit a three, AD is not dominant as he is. You can only see one dunk like that at the fourth for AD
@@losanctions6789 Exactly !!! 2 for 1 .. take the open 3 if miss, WHAT IF they able to rebound or play a great defense and another chance at winning the game. I supposed exhaustion deter his mind play of the game
I noticed Davis open too, I think at that point of the game you just have to give it to the open man and see what happens because when he drove it's almost like the Nuggets were expecting that because they adjusted well.
They been missing all night what the fuck you expect the man to do. You criticize him when he pass the ball and you criticize him when he shoots the ball what does it take for you clown to give this man any type of credit. Y'all be riding Jokic dick if he put up 40 and say what a monster game he had.
@Péter Prokai They needed 2 points and he was wide open in the corner 2x in a row. The odds of him missing a wide open mid range shot were too low to not give him the ball no matter how he was playing. LeBron didn't have any openings for his missed shots and he knew in the playoffs he would not get a foul in that situation
Then they see why AD disappears after a good game cuz Lebron gets jealous, doesn’t want people to say AD carrying him so he freezes AD out lol Lebron can’t accept 2nd fiddle
I've been saying this all season long, don't give the ball to Lebron when the game is on the line. I mean stats don't lie. Yet, why in the world is the ball always in his hand at the end? Not once but twice in this game. Smh. I thought he would be the decoy and quick pass out to his teammate to shoot like how we won past few games. I think it is not gonna happen. They were not the favorites to win, but they reached the Western Conference Finals after what had happened to them back in 2020. LeBron isn't no Jordan or Bryant. He shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as those two NBA legends. What he should be called is LeFraud. He isn't the real deal when the game is on the line.I have been a Lakers fan since 1975 and James is the biggest choker that I have ever seen in NBA history!
Leboring once again the fastest to leave the court after he couldn't make the shot when it counted. Bet that all time scoring record looks really nice for your teammates 😂 Especially when you ditch them once again for another team
As an old dude, I am put off by the LBJ FLOPS. Let's have more defense. We have more movement in my retirement community. Watching the ball roll on the floor, REALLY!!! This is supposed to be exciting. I feel badly for the game of basketball. I knew things were bad, but this is a new low. I morn the old days when men really tried, played every day and had the fortitude to stay with a team to make it better. This is a disappointment of the highest order.
This is a crazy take. LBJ and some of his squads gave their best. Denver has a much stronger offensive firepower. GSW only has Curry and momentarily Thompson, and they have to deal with Poole as well. Lebron has squads who were not consistent. So he has to take and willed his way to win the game and it is hard for him to do that given the fact that he is battling against father time, and he simply is not at his 100% now. So if you still see Lebron playing his favorite sport, the game of basketball you need to be grateful because he is the last one remaining in his batch to play so much minutes and still carrying a team on his back. To lose is part of life, it is just so painful to experience one given the level of greatness in Lebron James, even Jordan would feel the same. But in the end, he acknowledged it, but his attempt for another ring will not end here. He will back and he will play with his son for the last time for a last king's dance.
This lakers fan are blind , have you seen the Frethrows comparison of both teams? The refs help them my god stop pretending lebron is old, the denver played well and the refs can do nothing to protect his legacy

Well lebron thru it up and hit the side of the back board then gets blocked with the game on the line ! I can honestly say Jordan would have rose to the top on that occasion ! Either crossover and stopped and popped it in his eye or drove to the basket dunked or drew the foul ! Plain and simple !! Lebron will never be Jordan no matter how much the media tried to make him out to be !! Case closed yet again !!! And again and again and again !! Time after time he never lives up to that legacy or level !! Sorry !! Good but not the best to ever do it !!!
Not a flop. Hating never gets to stop. People can always find any reason to hate a guy who did all his best to win. There is no loss in life, as he was clearly guarded by two great NBA ballers, and he was the only one to take that final shot. If he pass it, he still gets the blame, and when he does it, he gets more of the blame. Where will he go? How much greatness does he have to show just to show that he is on a different world in basketball? Maybe when he retires, that is when they get to see what the man has accomplished.
Not a Lebron fan. I can see why he gets the hate. The bias media coverage, the refs doing all they can to keep them in games, the flopping, the choking in the last 2 minutes. He's 38 and only gonna decline further. Lebron will go down as one of the best.

Lebron is 1 of greatest players all-time and I am big fan, but Jordan was something like a GOD when he went into playoff mode. He was always clutch whit the big shots. Kobe was the closest thing to MJ .
After 20 years in the Association you would think that your teams star player would have at least mastered one go to move. This dud has none. If he's not bullying his way straight to the basket or shooting an off balance shot he's useless as your game winning shot taker. Proven time and time again. Blessings.
