Lakescaping 101

Join Shanna and Camille from the Barry County Water Quality Monitoring Program to learn about what is lakescaping; how to manage your lakefront property to prevent erosion and protect the plants and animals that live there; and how to keep the water clean and healthy to ensure the future enjoyment of the lake for all. Featured in this video is the W. K. Kellogg Biological Station Natural Shoreline Demonstration area. Located in Hickory Corners, MI, the KBS Natural Shoreline Demonstration provides an example of how anyone can create a healthy lakeshore in their own yard.
