this day I send mother and daugther to lakota spirit sky. i saw in the late 1960's,i was 14 southdakota during wounded knee. i will return to the birth place of my vision next year.your song gives me comfort, soon we will reunite, 45 winters have come and gone and finally i am ready to come home.
This is a beautiful song. I am not Native American but I spent Half my childhood with my half sister's family which are lakota. Her great grandmother was full Lakota. I loves being apart of the ceremonies and pow wows. I was even gibing a name, It is Little Bird. I'm proud of the experiences I had and miss it as well. Your song take me badk to that simplier time.
