TaraSingh...it is nothing to do with poor. I know this family. They are very simple family. Homes of this size are called million dollar homes. They can be afforded only after 20-25 years of hard earned money. They will be paying monthly instalments for next 30 years. So they are now getting into big debts. But comfortable space wise. So nothing wrong in that. One mans suffering is nothing to do with other mans comforts. They are active in temple activities here and follow Indian culture. So feel happy and proud for them. Stand corrected. Most of the people living here do lots of charity. They may not say outside. So someone back home is getting benefitted. Best wishes. Hope you become rich.
Land in US is not that expensive because the population size is smaller compared to the size of land. Property price is high only in big cities like Newyork.
They worked hard in schools and collages to get good grades and earn good credentials to get good job. They work hard to earn money and you are saying that they should spend it on you or someone like you. Your communist mind is good for you. No one will buy that. Beggars need to work hard too. Money is not growing on the tree . They work hard to get that.
Economics textbooks clearly state that Indians are poor because of over population and laziness. There is nothing she can do about that. People have right to earn and spend their money. Many people are willfully unemployed or lazy or drunk. Nobody can help such people. Mid day meals are provided by government in schools because parents don't feed their own children. Government also supplies free ration items using people's tax money,including her's.
