This season of Vanderpump Rules kicks off with the anticipated opening of TomTom. Lisa Vanderpump channels her energy into making sure her newest venture is the epitome of perfection, but when last-minute problems arise, she must assign more responsibility to her junior partners Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval - whether they're ready or not. After a rollercoaster of a year, Jax finally proposes to his loving girlfriend, Brittany. Although they appear to be getting along better than ever, Brittany breaks down when the group questions Jax's motives. After a painful breakup, Stassi bounces back with an exciting new business deal, an eccentric new boyfriend, and a surprising friendship with Ariana. Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval is on the brink of the greatest success of his professional life, but his personal life remains complicated when he shares an intimate secret about Ariana. After being the target of body-shaming comments, Katie takes a stand for the women of SUR and delivers an ultimatum to Lisa that sends reverberations throughout the entire restaurant. Normally fun and light-hearted, Lala struggles with the sudden death of her father leaving everyone wondering if she'll ever be the same. Fresh on the heels of her breakup with Rob, Scheana declares this to be her "single summer" but when she starts a new obsession over a hot SUR barback, people whisper that Scheana hasn't changed as much as she claims. Still the resident DJ, James stirs up trouble when an ill-conceived rap lands him in hot water with the group. Kristen retaliates by unleashing an explosive rumor about James setting off an irrevocable chain of events that will affect the entire SUR family.

Pamela Moulton... Thank you so much for the kind words. I've lost my dad too, just a year has passed, I'm getting along fine, I think I am, but every now and then, when I'm alone, he comes in my thought, I miss him so much, it's like physical pain.... I realize him, in whatever I do, whatever empowerment I have , he has given me through his teaching, through his care.... Miss him so much..

@@aditiban002 So very sorry for your loss. A loving parent's goal is to empower their child to be able to live well once the parent is no longer physically present. The fact you realize that your dad has done that speaks highly of both you and him. I am quite sure he is very proud of you. I have no doubt you miss his physical presence greatly, but he will always remain inside you, not just a memory, but as a living presence in your heart. Your pain is proof of that. Be blessed, dear one.

I can really relate especially to that "your dad is now just a memory". That's a fucking weird and horrible feeling. 😕 I feel the same every day. Can't believe he is just a memory now.

She’s so right! I feel her so much on this, lost my dad May 2017 suddenly and unexpectedly. So far the hardest day for me was the 1 year anniversary of his death. Hope everyone who has lost someone finds peace 💕

I definitely feel your pain. I lost my dad 2 years going. I got married In November 2016 and he past 2 months later. It will definitely take time to heal. I saw a therapist for a while and now being pregnant I think of him more because she won’t get to know him. Stay strong 🙏🏿

I can relate to that even though my father has been gone for 15 yrs now at the time everything happened so fast he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and 9 months after being diagnosed he died 7 months after his passing i found i was pregnant that was my first pregnancy and his first grandson and the fact that he wasnt here to witness that was so heart breaking and my son was born 8 days before my dads birthday and the ironic thing is my son has never met my father yet he has a few characteristics just like him and his features as well to the point where my son whose 14 yrs old now has said hes tired of ppl who knew my dad always saying he looks like him even my brother whose the only boy out of 5 children says how is it that my nephew looks more like my father than i do lol iam not going to say it gets easier but u have to take it day by day it does hit hard especially on certain holidays and special moments but for me i take comfort in knowing that hes at peace and he would want me to be happy and not mourn for the rest of my life so in the midst of your grieve u have to find some solace for u and that life youre about to bring in this world

My mama died suddenly a month ago. I feel for her, it’s devastating. And she’s a lot younger than I am. Peace, Lala...your Dad would want you to be strong. That’s what I keep reminding myself about my mom. 😔💔

My dad passed a week before father's day n he's not a memory. I still talk to my dad like he is still here. I didn't be hateful to people either. They gave me the strength not lash out. Lala using excuses to be a mean girl..something else going on

We all feel for her and a family loss is always a The worst struggle. But that does not give her a free pass, we have witnessed countless of stars lose their loved ones during realities and still everybody has to be held accountable for their actions and behaviors no matter what situation they go through. And her actions and behaviors have been horrible.

DUCKY momo whether you like her or not as a person, have some compassion. I know Lala isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but she’s still a human who went something extremely horrible. I would never wish death of a loved one-especially a parent-even on people I dislike. Have your opinion, great, but also don’t act like a soulless monster and say things like that when people are really struggling. In terms of situations like this, if you ain’t got nothing nice to say, don’t say nothing at all

I hope she continues to talk to someone about her grief and loss. I think that will help her towards the path of healing. This season I feel it has shown her put unnecessary anger on to others. In this interview, I can still see she is hurting. Wish Lala the best.

So why be angry and mean if you know life is too short. Acting angry solves nothing.. Lala should be in therapy not pointing and yelling at people, cause one day you might point that finger to the wrong person..
