Lalah's voice is soooo soothing and commanding. Very nice song! Been an appreciator since the 90's (I'm Coming Back and Baby Don't Cry). I CAN'T WAIT to see La La in Atlanta this Fall. Love Ya Girl!
Great song. Someone referred to it in a text just yesterday. I came here to listen to it. I wish there was someone in my world that made me want to humm this song all day, but I'm not convinced, in these trifling, fake days and times, that he exists.
HERE she IS world!!!! It's the first single but the upcoming album has to have this songstress, and soul stirring singer bringing us another delivery of raw and always giving music....NOT to sound corny, but I CAN"T WAIT......Love you like oxygen LALAH!
Too bad, this single can't be purchased nor streamed here in Europe(Amsterdam). So for now youtube it is. However, I absolutely LOVE the song, the arrangement, melody, production and the vocals are flawless. On constant repeat! Well done!
I tell you every time I hear this woman sing, I make sure to brush up on my ad-libs on my music lol... This woman doesn't have to do all the crazy runs because she's lived in music for years... In my eyes, hey artistry is NOT celebrated ENOUGH! I love you strong black Queen... I pray that I get blessed to bless the world through song as you have done and inspired so many across the globe! Wow... I can't stop dancing to this one tho... Eyyyyy
I love the new single Lalah! I just love your smooth soothing amazing voice! You remind me so much of your father, when I hear you sing, I hear him as well! What an awesome Gift!!! ❤️❤️😘❤️❤️
For me as a lover of what Lalah does live. It is hard for me to feel/connect with her studio edits. Her vocals are always beyond amazing but I always seem to struggle with letting go of "my preference" (forgive me) to her jazz/soul material verses her contemporary R&B. This is a song is headed in the right direction. Compared to "Whatever" (love. sexy song).
While I have fallen in love with her live and like you prefer it, I can't front, this one is a banger! I think it's just that the studio doesn't do her voice justice...
"Whatever" and "Brand New" sound really delicious to me. They've got this lush, almost hypnotic instrumentation and mix that tastefully accentuate Lalah's timbre and musicianship. Not sure about this song, though. The beat is too poppish for me. But my opinion may change in the future. And I'd like to hear the rest of the album.
Man I love this joint but I must admit when I first heard it, I thought it was a brother.. El Debarge in the past and Chris Brown of the present is making it hard to tell nowadays.. Anyway, I am not hating or disrespecting Lala in no way because this is 🔥🔥🔥
I love way you're singing this song, pero the beat's kinda throwing me off, Lalah. It's that damn *taser* sound (trap beat). I get it though. I kinda like this song. You and Ledisi are trying this "trendy" sound so you know who I wanna hear try it next.....? *Rachelle Ferrell.* Yes, Rachelle Ferrell. I'm curious to know how her voice will sound on this type of song. Or even a ratchet song. I know I'll be rollin' when I hear it. _YouKnow IGotSoul_ brought me here.
