Hello friends, this is Doug Payne of Doug Payne & Polygon. I had the chance to meet Lalah at the 2015 Marian Anderson Awards held in Philly. I told her that I attended her father's memorial service held at Rankin Chapel when I was a music student at Howard University. I remember when Stevie Wonder sent a beautiful acknowledgement to Donnie. She laughed when I told her that the music professors at Howard were tough on us because of the success of their former students Donnie & Roberta.

Donny Hathaway female version pure magic, pure talent effortless, just beautiful voice...I loved her dad very much and she is just a replica!

I am thinking very hard and I really can't come up with a better singer. I think she could jog and sing like this as well! There are hundreds of singers that I think are really great vocalists but I think she is sitting pretty at the top. She has the sweetest lips too!
