Defense has some of the worst pass rush rates in the 4th qt. We need a true super star edge rusher. Remember we drafted marlon humphrey over tj watt which when it happend i was beyond pissed

We got the Bills next. If the coaches go conservative for this game, the ravens may get embarrassed. No room for slack or error. I'm glad Lamar is voicing things out. Hopefully it gets the team to tighten up, especially the coaching staff.

Justin Tuckers field goal made % took a hard dive in 2022 when Jordan Stout started holding after Koch retired. Qadry Ismail hinted at it but didn't want to say it on Locked on Ravens. Doesn't make sense that JT would just fall off all of a sudden. If Stouts the problem they need to get somebody else out there ASAP

Harbaugh plays old-school football. Get a big lead. Play it safe by running and no mistakes. It bites us in the butt everytime. We have many players that didn't get to make any plays because of this conservative play calling. Why would an elite reciever want to come here when you throw the ball 3 times in the second half.

I think a big problem with the ravens is that they think they can “impose their will” by any means necessary. When they get a lead they want to just run the ball and play defense, but the problem is that they become too predictable and the other team can start to chip away. They run the ball 3 times, punt, and put a tired defense back in the field. And then with a combination of being undisciplined and not having top fire power to score at will, ravens hand teams an opportunity to come back.

The 2013 super bowl was close only due to the other team getting time to regroup as our adrenaline wore off. The power outage stopped all of our momentum. If I remember correctly Jacoby returned a kickoff for a TD to start the 3rd quarter and our defense got a quick 3 & out right after that. It was crazy to see the 49ers almost snatch a win from us but it was Mr. Special teams coach Harbs himself that told the punter to take a safety to seal the win at the end. They ended up banning that tactic the next season 😂

Fire Harbaugh!! That is a direct result of John Harbaugh's philosophies . The front office seems to be ok with losing this way over and over. Harbaugh is a motivator, but not a tactical thinker as a coach. Offenses and athletes are way too explosive to try and sit on a lead the 2nd half of games. How many times do you have to lose this way before a change is made ? Then you throw your players under the bus by not being accountable as the head decision maker of your team. If this isn't addressed or changed. Harbaugh will lose the locker room

You can look at it either way... they could have been 0 and 3 or they could have been 3 and 0 ....that's how close the games were. So that means we have the ability to win and that's good news going forward.

I know there was a game in 2017 against the Steelers where they were up 11 in 4th with like 10mins to go and gave up 19pts and lost by 1. I bet there's a lot more of those if we actually looked going back. Been one constant the entire time.

Steelers fan here. At the beginning Lamar Jackson used to be someone who could beat anybody in the league. Still kind of is, but no one fears the ravens anymore. They’re figured out. “Make Lamar throw the ball, and contain the run.” I mean, adding Derrick Henry was nice but it was expected. The ravens go after every star RB on the market in hope of adding to a run game that nobody fears anymore. The NFL has adjusted and there are more black dual threat quarterbacks than ever before. Not only that but the Ravens grown a reputation to choke.

if we looked at every ravens blown 4th qtr lead since like mid 2010s it was that soft zone defense and being conservative on offense (run on 1st and 2nd then pass on 3rd down) playing not to lose instead of playing to win

If Lamar has more freedom to change the plays than it's not on the coach or coaches . Lamar is the last one in charge on every play . Yes head coach and coaching staff have the first say ,but it's up to the guys on the field to make the final call and adjustments and execute. Yes they could get in the dog house ,but if I was Lamar or anyone of the eleven players on the field at the moment I would risk being in the dog house to help my team win.
