Lamar Jackson is a top QB in this league that has been held back by a horrible coach and supporting cast of players. Lamar received his second MVP because he is required to do more with less. A bunch of bodies with no to barely minimal talent for a supporting cast don't count. Hopefully, one day soon the Ravens Organization will make the team whole with the necessary talents needed surrounding him, so that Lamar can soar.
lamar is a generational talent that many other nfl players can come close to. the ravens have always been overlooked. I think it has to do a lot with not getting much air time nationally. after the 2021 year lamar has been able to improve but i think people look at him and find some justification that he isn't as good as he has shown.
I love videos like this. Because I hear how other fan bases talk about Lamar Jackson. Every off-season somehow everyone's QB is suddenly better than Lamar Jackson. It's almost never during the season
Getting another safety is a COMPLETE waste of roster space and resources. Honestly I think we need another RB, OT, or DE/OLB. …. Smh I want to but just can’t have faith in Ojabo or Oweh to get us the sack production we need. I do feel like CB is where you can’t have enough of em, but I feel like Armour-Davis and Pepe missed their shot or just ain’t good enough. Let em tf go!! I’m honestly sick of Harbaugh even saying their names. lol they in the way frfr
I agree with Ravens picking up another OT and OG. Pepe and Davis should be practice squad level players and camp bodies only. Our UDFA like Beau Brade should get more of a shot than those injurie prone players. Ravens also gotta give a shot to the UDFA WR they signed. Gotta see if we have a diamond in the rough.
The last 3 years I haven't understood the lack of urgency to stock up on offensive linemen, it's constantly been weak and only looks good at times cuz of Lamar Jackson...
The worst thing is paying to watch a game where 30% of the time you're watching commercials, either free with commercials or pay and have no commercials, disgusting to have both
Unfortunately for Lamar, the Ravens seem to view him as a RB. The mismanagement of this roster has cost us championshipS (plural). Until the FO realizes defense is NOT the answer we will always have a huge uphill battle.
I'm late to the discussion so pardon me if you've already covered any of this because this is gonna be _LONG._ I'm analytical. I hadn't watched the NFL for nearly a decade because it was full of memes, media hype, BS & nothing else. I returned only because I found channels featuring analysis. They had footage from multiple angles. Now I can see how good an o-linesman is without having to listen to announces yammer. Yay! But there seems to be a fear of discussing the importance of play-calling everywhere I go. Maybe because Kurt Warner has gotten some heat for it. I don't really know. All I know is that For Three Full Years every other team knew how to completely neutralize Greg Roman's offense & the only people who didn't happen to all work in Ravens management. That's a Real Fact. Except of course that this can't be the case. Since I don't know if you've covered it, I'll shift onto Fields & the Bears. The 5 game streak that the Bears played decent offense in during the '23 season all came right after they acquired Montez Sweat & a new DC. So Eberflus, who bragged about how He Decided what plays to limit the offense to was too busy to do that for those 5 weeks. So Getsy was the main or possibly only play0-caller on O & we saw the same plays that made the Bears, I repeat, _the _*_pre-D.J. Moore BEARS_* the #1 offense 3 weeks straight in '22. This means that Getsy elevated the offense & while all of his games were better than the other 22 Eberflus tampered with that Fields played in. Now how does Matt Canada get chanted to the unemployment office & a guy who Visibly Turns the #1 offense into trash *_TWICE_* go utterly unquestioned? So I'll wait to see if anyone wants to continue this discussion because it affects Lamar too, only I didn't want to waste time yakkin' 'bout what you may already know.
@@RougPod Well, it's one of those Ugly Truths about humanity. Plus racism & ego. Except surprisingly, not always racism (!) Who knew? I don't like to put links to other potentially competing channels but this isn't one. It's simply a collage of highlights of two QBs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5JO1PsupF_U.html Caleb Williams & Justin Fields. It wouldn't jump out at you right away but if you count how many times the pass does or should allow the defense to make a play be being terribly inaccurate, sometimes endangering the receiver, Fields does this twice. Caleb, ten times. So at the very worst, Fields is the same Calibre as Williams, worse than him at nothing & a more accurate passer. Why didn't Fields get hyped like that? Unknown. & while we can't claim racism there, you can never discount it. Lamar was Unquestionably the Best QB when he started & not just Black, *dark* Black. Yes, of course it made the socially dominant Whites uncomfortable. But Justin Herbert now has One Receiver & the same OC who undermined Lamar. Not only that, this is on the heels of three years of Joe Lombardi then Kellen Moore calling plays that made no use of his talents whatever. The rest of this goes into psychology & bores anyone not interested in that. & is long. I can link a video of how Moore neutered Herbert but that one would be from a channel that has similar content to yours, so I won't link it unless you want to see it. I'm not *entirely sure* what's going on with any of these things, but how the entire league reacted to Lamar was either owners _really stupidly_ trying to make an example of him being his own agent, which was stupid & I'm getting Very Negative Reactions to proving to people that Fields is at worst no worse than The Second Coming at anything & that can't be explained by collusion on the part of the NFL's owners. Well, not directly. People defend narratives over fact. So, do you care about _any_ of this? 🙃
