i dont think people realize, these dudes were one of the very 1st athletes with a successful podcast. they really opened up a whole lane and i hope they get their flowers 🙏🏿
I love how this podcast focused strictly on his hoop career, seen other podcast that asked him more about his personal life. This is why this one of the best bball podcast
Facts I don’t like it when people try to ask about his past doing drugs or Khloé Kardashian I like strictly basketball personal stuff ain’t for us to air out
@@TheRealMisterChopShop LO is so real and transparent, the other shows tend to take advantage of it to get the clicks. He willingly brought up some stuff on this podcast but Q and D didn't even feed into it and changed the subject
2k needs to add the early 00' Clippers in the game because they was fun to watch back then!!! L.O, Q.Richardson, D.Miles, Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, etc
Im part of that era at Riverside after Odom.I played at Mt st Michaels and Riverside .Those years from 96 to 04 was crazy for hs aau ball for us in NYC.... people really dont understand unless they were there....Class 1998 -2002.....Rip to Joe Gluss....Bx 12
such a unique player ahead of his time. i cant imagine how fun he would be to watch with more possessions, freedom and spacing in today's game. i was a huge fan of him as a long time laker fan
Yo YOO YOOOO..WE LIVEEE ON LOCATIONNN! Finally the Big 3 gets together need to do a Clipper reunion episode and get Maggete n Brand with yall. Glad to see Lamar doing great man despite everything after his career. He was on some special special teams with Wade's HEAT AND Kobe's Lakers where he was a big part of the success there. Great episode! My fav pod keeps the heat coming! #DoubleTap 🌳🔥🌬😎
I appreciate that NO dirt was thrown out at LO from the Q & D. Thank you guys. That's so dope. Keep it real and keep Trash out of the Podcast. God Bless You, LO. A Real OG.
Lamar Was A Special Talent, Loved Him As A Player And As A Lake Fan….What He Did For The Lakers, Was MAJOR!…Will Forever Appreciate Him, His Talent And Him Sharing His Story And Keeping It 100
As a fellow Jamaica Queens Native, I followed Odom from the Day at Rhode Island throughout his career. Dude had Madd Game yo! Although he had his issues as we all make bad choices, we live and learn and move forward. Big Ups to Lamar!
This one was another banger. Id love to see Luol Deng get on here! Dude had an awesome college and pro career. Now he’s help building up the basketball leagues in Africa. Would be a good listen 🙏🏻
Lamar is a solid dude....I remember running into Lamar on the 91 freeway in Cali off Beach Blved. We were stuck in traffic, and he was driving a Mercedes Benz. He was a Clippers then i believe. Anyway I yelled out to him and said, "Yo You have a nice car! He was like thanks Man! I told him you need to be Laker. He said some day bra thats my dream. I told him keep grinding and be ready. He said no doubt fam appreciate the support. He yelled out Do you know anyone who got Weed? 🤦♂️i was like Bro really? LoL!! Car to car I Throw him a gram sack😂 to him. Wish my guy the best .
LO!!! One of my favorite players and people ever. The man was a super star talent that unselfishly took a back seat to team up with Kobe and win. Salute much love and good to see this man looking healthy and happy.
I am happy to see LO healthy and doing well. I have a great amount of respect for the young fella. I used to always see him with a group of kids on Jamaica Ave shopping when he came home. Respect!
I was rockin this squad back in the 2000’s, when everybody was a Lakers fan. I couldn’t find their jerseys nowhere, so I was having to order personalized jerseys with their names and numbers on em ha ha
@@younglove3362 your not lying, his post game was official, one of the best I ever saw, nice handle plus he could shoot from long range, damn shame he never got recognition
This might be one of my top 3 favorite knucklehead episodes cuz this feels like one of the convos you have with your boys on the ride home after y'all just played
Another great interview. I honestly expected more from Lamar. He was amazing from day one but I'm still glad he won rings and now he's back in his right mind mentally and physically.
A good jawn,... Raheem was nice, played in Nike Cup Classic in Ohio 98 saw him and Michael Redd go back and forth in the chip game, Scorelord. L.O. a bul on the east coast🤞🏽💪🏾💪🏾
This ep is has me cheesing. All this Laker talk brings back memories, nba 2k needs to put some respect on those lakers teams. 3 trips to finals is special.
Great guest. So many on this podcast and others have spoke on Odom's talent and as a teammate. Gotta respect that. I would've loved to see the Heat get Lamar early in his career. Knowing Odom's style off the court, its interesting he said he didn't have anyone to learn from and admitted he missed his opportunities in part cuz' of that. I also love them talking about D Wade. I got his jersey on my wall today.
What Giannis and Bron are is what we thought Lamar was going to be; and he was a purer pg than them both, wonder why the league never gave him a team to run pg
I love to hear his experiences growing up as a ball player, because when i was still young enough to ball and get out there , He was one of the best players in the country, and when you hear about what he was doing, you know you had to put in a whole lot of work to ball with him or against him ... I loved it, because that generation of ballers was a real tuff crowd
@@davidmcTurdi get like that from smoking sometimes, or drinking doesnt have to be coke. He def seemed like he wanted more to drink playing and looking at the cup like that 😂
