12 year old child loses his mother to colon cancer. His dad was addicted to heroin and failed to provide mental, emotional, and physical support. damn you ladies navigated that conversation SO well. i really applaud and admire the balance (and sychronicity) you all have with not pandering, being honest, not being too invasive, showing support whilst continously uplifting the guest. it takes one wrong move for an interview as complex as this to go south real quick. emotional intellegence levels on 100 y'all and i am wholeheartedly here for it!

It's all right to hurt from a broken relationship, just don't STAY hurt. Never let an ex mess up your next. After the reveal, work to heal.

So many people were praising the fact that he had a black woman vs KK, but it seems like this woman went into the relationship with an ulterior motive. Thank goodness he didn’t have to depend on her when he was near death to make decisions for him😔

I like him but his energy is dark ,,, that lady was toxic ! I seen right thru her when he brought her on the real. She was fake and calculated, I’m not shocked this ended !

I know a few men like this... they have so many demons and yet it's always the "ex's problems" that caused the breakups. It's never self-reflection and ownership, just insinuating that they were the victim in relationships (regardless of if THEY were the ones who cheated, were disinterested, had temper issues, etc). Being a friend, I'd feel sympathy when they'd come around depressed with complaints but I've seen this movie one too many times. When everyone around you drops like flies, sometimes it's you that needs to change.

I agree with some of you here. Honestly, I didn't even really know who Lamar was till this interview. Not everyone follows sports. I barely watch t.v. to begin with. I only recognized him from pictures with Koby. But one thing led me to hear both sides and that's a man talking ill about a woman he was planning on making her his wife. That's not love. Love doesn't just die like that and it is not dependent on the object of love.... Meaning that no matter what you do to me, I can not wish you ill or hurt you back, if I truely love you. And well the more I did my research on these two, the more I feel that they have both made some mistakes and have a lot of good in them but I have to side with her for the most part. #1 She was already on her way to stardom on her own. She has that star quality written all over her and her products were selling like fire. She was a hustler before she met him and that is not a bad thing. She was doing her, to be able to spend more time with her kids and live a better life. Who doesn't want to live a better life and to be able to spend more time with their kids while living their dreams? If he thought being a hustler was a bad thing, why get with her in the 1st place? Get with someone instead who has no goals, dreams or ambition or with someone who is already on his level of fame and wealth. It wasn't like she got famous from some sex tape with him. She has talent, a skill, wisdom, a gift and a purpose. #2 She actually helped him in more ways than one. She stepped up to people who were actually taking advantage of him. He was even getting paid less than someone who's name wasn't even suppose to be in their latest gig. Now it's like... Oh, she took over because she is a gold digger. Smh. #3 He just recently thanked the Kardashians for giving him a chance to cross over. So if she tries to cross over, she is a gold digger but he can without any problems... Why? Because she is a woman? #4 When a couple and especially when you are about to get married, you are a team. You want your partner to succeed. You want doors to open, the red carpet to be rolled out for your spouse. You want nothing but the best for them and rejoice everytime a light shines over them. Yet there were plenty of times during their interviews, were his body language and facial expressions said to me that this was an insecure man who allowed social media to get to him and forget that they are each others backbone, each others #1 fan, each others 1st person on their support system. He started to see her the way everyone else was seeing her, instead of clearing the way for her and getting rid of all the toxicity and negative vibes around her. How... Just how in the world do people try to tear down someone who has devoted her life to helping others? I will never understand that. People really do love drama and really need to stop worshipping these celebs that can never do any wrong. There are so many things that have been said that are clearly nothing but rumors and misunderstanding. Not only can she sue his ass for defamation of character but thanks to him talking ill about her, I now know a bit better about Lamar, so really she is also helping him with his fame. Just saying.
