oohhh sorry it's döner but a little more different, in turkey we use the traditional method which is not mincing the meat but putting them on top of each other as thin slices then we shave them into slivers (don't shave actually a lot of the döner restaurants use long knives to cut them but people also shave them by using some sort of döner shavers?)

@@RawBerserker perhaps it depends on the country, but kebab over here means minced meat with lots of spices, and though it's cooked on iron sticks sometimes, it's never served that way

@@ptr_does_music7042 That's the thing, kebab isn't any one thing. It's basically just grilled meat, so it could be quite literally anything. Chelo kebab koubideh and chicken tikka are both kebabs, even if they are different meats and are prepared/presented in different ways. It just so happens that the most common way kebabs are cooked is on a skewer, which is why it's not inaccurate to think "stick" 👌
