It's funny how genetics plays such a big role in a youthful appearance...John Campbell, the bass player, is a little younger than Randy, but looks like he is 80 because of that grey beard. Randy escaped the grey :) That being said, it is no secret that for whatever reason, us Gen Xers have aged better than other generations.

@@arinsarris I've never seen that before. Maybe that's ok and safe (and due to very windy conditions on that day ?), but i would be scared, considering how heavy these stacks are ...
2 possible reasons. 1. Event Producer's decision 2. Talent fee, paid artists has a corresponding price. The longer the show, the producer or event organizer will pay a lot. It may seem lame for you for a 30 minute show but if you know how things work behind a show, then you will understand.
You can hear how much being a raging alcoholic killed his vocals. I'm glad he's sober (last I heard) but the toll alcohol takes on ones body is absurd and saddening. I've been sober for 7 years, I was a vocalist for a long time for death metal bands and I just can't hit the same highs or gutterals I used to. Alcohol and vomiting a lot, destroyed my throat and vocals unfortunately.
