A very cool repair. Thanks for sharing. I have a similar, less powerful, unit. Potentiometers were electrically OK, but full of dried up grease that needed to be removed.
Great video thanks! Interesting ripple test at the end. Is there most common components that would cause ripple and noise due to aging? I ask because I have a Lambda LDS-P-5-OV but I don’t have an oscilloscope to check it. I am thinking of replacing all the capacitors but not sure if this is the most common and most likely cause of issues as they age. No big pots on the LDS.
