It's time for another seriously powerful supercar drag race!
Mat's lining up in the Ferrari 812 Superfast, which delivers 800hp and 717Nm from its huge 6.5-litre V12! As for the Aventador SVJ? Well it's also got a 6.5-litre V12, although it can only put down 770hp and 720Nm.
But can either of them dethrone the current carwow drag race king, the Porsche 911 Turbo S? It may only put down 650hp, but this apparent lack of power hasn't stopped it leaving all competitors in its wake so far!
All we know is, this is going to be one seriously epic drag race that you don't want to miss!

There are more reasons: The best launch control, 4WD (also Lambo), a very fast PDK gearbox and a rear axle that, with the weight of the engine hanging in the rear makes it have better grip, both in acceleration and braking. When braking, having more weight suspended from the rear axle makes it have better grip, so larger brakes can be mounted with greater resistance to blocking. And another nuance is forgotten, 800 Nm in a naturally aspirated engine is not the same as in a turbo engine, in the latter they are more forceful, they arrive sooner.

Even if the Turbo S ran 8's out of the showroom, I'd still rather have a 812/Aventador. The Tesla Plaid smokes every single car under 2 million dollars and most Ferrari/Porsche/Lambo owners would still keep their 812/Turbo/Huracan's instead

That's only max hp. when you consider the average hp made troughout the rev range, you'll see that turbocharged cars actually make more power than N/A cars generally, despite what the maximum figure is.

The Porsche has turbos though. You're making it sound like it's half an engine Vs the rest, when it's not. The turbos produce a lot of torque and has minimal drivetrain loss.

I'd probably go for the ferrrari 812 superfast, but i also know that I am missing out on amazing Germán engineering that comes from the 911 turbo s. Out of the 3 the ferrari would be my pick, but to be bruttaly honest the Porsche is just the better car out of all of them. But there is just nothing like a raw 6,5 liter italian v12 that is also made by one of the best car brand, ferrari!

Forgot to mention the fastest production supercar around Nurburgring is 911 GT 2RS at 6.43.30 and Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO set fastest ever on the track for Hyper car and over all at 5.19.545. In fact Lambo and Ferrari both are quite opposite to track days in modern era, The only company that boasts any pride in lap records is Porsche cause Porsche is also the fastest production car on Pikes peak👍(ice cat) Is just simple science because Porsche puts the engine on the back wheel and not in the middle of the car like every other supercar is (mid engine) Porsche has a rear engine car so most weight is on the rear wheel giving at real mechanical grip😂 Damn you

Funny, because AMG builds some of the best sounding V8 and V12s in the game and the GT3 (RS) of Porsche screams like an maniac. The Turbo S is simply not meant to be a crazy loud beast... it combines max. comfort with 100% performance under every weather condition. It's the best allround-supercar on the planet.

@Erasmo Stride, you forget about the PDK gearbox and the drivetrain. Shifting is seamless in the porsche and with less power and time lost. You can have 1000hp if you can't put the power quick and with minimal losses, the Porsche will always beat you

@Erasmo Stride, I'm not a Porsche fanboy but I recognize a hurt Lambo fan. I think we weren't watching the same video. 5:42 look at the left, the Porsche is pulling away IN TOP GEAR not in low and standstill acceleration. Why? Because PDK shifts way faster than the robotized manual and the power loss is less. That Porsche can be launched 20 times in a row in a quarter mile and you can still drive it home, launch the Lambo or Ferrari 5 times in a row and you either destroyed the clutch or the transmission is overheated. Ps: For a top speed run the lightest and the most torque wins always.

While i do agree it's amazing the performance, i have had the pleasure of driving all 3 by renting in Dubai, and my uncle also owns the same Turbo s in Switzerland. I have to say it's the most boring car in the world, even if you do 10.1s drag race you will have more fun in a Corolla doing 100s drag race. The car is the pinnacle of boring, everything is automatic you might as well not drive it as you get no emoticons from it. The Ferrari and Lamborghini on the other hand you will never get the smile off your face and the Ferrari is just special, there is no better and greater feeling of being connected with a car then when you drive a Ferrari, you are driving the car and you just never stop having fun, also if the 812 was AWD you do know it would be the fastest car they ever had Down the strip, it would crush everything. Unfortunately Italians care more about the driving experience than the times and numbers, that's why Ferrari is special tho because you will never have a better experience in any other car. Although it makes me mad cos they have the ability to crush every German car if they just added awd and some driver correction and maybe a small Turbo

A true gentlemen's car will always be Aston Martin. Don't care about power, cost and attention at all. Basically just owning it because he likes it and not listening others' opinion. Porsche is more like belong to the gentleman's kid but not the spoiled one. Driving it as fast as they can drive on track but that's it, nothing more.

Torque isn't half though, and its the ability of its engine to produce more torque from lesser revs compared to the Lambo and Ferrari due to turbos and less drivetrain loss, and more boosts per cylinder
