Cornering yes even at mid 300hp in a super light well set up car on sticky tires with good breaks will give a high HP heavy car a run for its money. The HP wins in the straights!
@@sssss4644he once rode in a brand new SVJ that immediately broke down. Then he rode in an Aventador S and didn't like the ride. He even heavily critiqued the SVJ's lap record on the Nurburgring. And finally, he drove a Huracan STO with his wife but the car had bad tires and the whole ride was so sketchy that it made them both feel scared and uncomfortable.
@6:20 That "Brazzers" Black Mini Cooper was NO JOKE. Its lightweight and power though those corners was freaking insane... The only time the SVJ had a chance to pass it was on the straightaways. I think the driver of the Black Mini Cooper needs to meet up with Misha they both have some serious driving skills. Great Video Misha, too bad for the yellow flag during the run. :(
The Owners Name is Thomas Lamberts. He is the Founder of "Krumm Performance" which is mainly a Mini Cooper Tuning Shop and specialist. Definalty someone you will have heard about when it comes to fast Mini Trackcars. ✌🏻
This guy has all the ingredients I love from the Netherlands: Oranje t Shirt, totally slick shaved head, Hakkun vibes, cool glasses, kaas souvle, nice guy and a nice car with cool color. Great episode
The fact Lamborghini still rocks the single clutch flappy pedals in the Aventador just shows how mental their engineers are. Every gearchange is an expression.
@@PistonAvatarGuy No, it was a packaging issue within the chassis and also Lamborghini engineers didn't get their hands dirty to make the gear shifts smooth or quick. They could have at least made the shifts quicker.
The SVJ is arguably one of the greatest modern Lambo's to ever be produced. All the drama, incredible sound, doesnt cost 3 million like the Countache thats bascuallt a rebooted Aventador and the same for the other super limited Aventado based cars. Incredible value in the super car realm. Very few cars even this costing 3 times as much have the presence of an SVJ. With a Gintani F1 exhaust, its game over!
I don't care what anyone says... I'd take the Aventador SVJ over ANY other modern day Supercar or Hypercar! These cars just bring out so much emotion and they look amazing! It's too bad there's such a strict noise restriction on the Nürburgring. I'd do anything to hear an Aventador SVJ with a Gintani F1 exhaust system screaming around this circuit!
Continues smiling thereafter. True car lover would leave those undercarriage scrapes for the life of it. Racetrack battle scars to remember its insanity!
This guy is a great passenger! I loved watching the lap and glancing over to see what emotional face he was making. He made great conversation too. I’m excited for the 992 GT3 RS video.
Absolutely love the rear view camera setup! Seeing the motor moving in its mounts while shifting, cornering and applying gas/letting off is just something else!😍
That opinion has been about 50/50. Half say it was incredible to watch the engine rolling and half calling the view "dog toffee". Opinions are hilarious things.
This is the best looking, best sounding lambo IMO. I don't like the new hybrid generation at all. The down shifts were too harsh and made the car unstable during cornering. That mini was amazing!
Great until the clutch needs replaced. My mate paid about 10k AUD to replace the clutch in his old single-clutch Maserati and I'm sure this is many times that price
The sound! LOVE it :D I am not a big Lambo fan but that singing tone at high revs makes all the hairs go up! The owners face the whole track was perfect :D Great run!
@@Brian.Jones.310 that test in Silverstone had a Manthey Racing tuned Porsche vs the SVJ which they said was brand new and probably not on the equivalent tyres. The MR Porsche BEAT the SVJ on the Nürburgring too a whole 6 seconds. I still think the the regular GT2 RS could beat the SVJ in Silverstone, but we have to be honest with making comparisons like this.
@@MrSilverfish12 The GT2 RS didn't have the full MR kit only some suspension components, you can see the end plates on the rear wing is still the smaller ones from the GT2 RS and the car didn't have the cover wheels.
@@Brian.Jones.310 yes I know its not a full tune but clearly the suspension gives it a bit of an edge since the standard GT2 RS got beat by the Aventador by 2 seconds at the ring. If the Aventador was really that inferior the ring would have exposed it far more than Silverstone could have. I´m not saying the regular GT2RS couldn´t beat it at Silverstone, I´m just saying we should not downplay the differences between a MR and standard GT2. An MR tune is serious work and improves the GT2RS performance juristically, even without the extra aero components you describe.
I had the fortune of tracking the SVJ and the GT3RS back to back at Rockingham Raceway in Corby, England. As impressive as the GT3RS was, its dual clutch box was too sanitised - it might as well have been a full on automatic. The SVJ, with its old school gearbox, slammed me back into my seat each time a pulled for a gear and it was pure drama. It felt like a manual but without the third pedal. For that reason, my pulse was way higher in the SVJ than the GT3RS. And at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?
@@darkmatter6714 Most of the times that's just painful and is just an injury away from driving such cars. The GT3RS on the other hand is much more engaging with its DCT and quick shifts, also it's much more nimble as it weighs quite a lot less.
@@Brian.Jones.310 It’s a matter of preference. I’ve always thought people were missing a trick for years, then I saw Doug Demuro put out a video about this very thing and I thought, “finally, a car guy who agrees with me!” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-etUuBhppHdg.htmlsi=Xq7sHV7UMC6w5YfV
That was❤️🔥! I so enjoy driving vicariously through your channel! There is one such Lambo SVJ driven locally here in SoCal. Loud ASF. Greater appreciation now tho. Thanks again for the awesome content!
Always nice to see ppl who buy cars that actually enjoy them. When I purchased my dream car with 10k miles the seller told me to put it in storage for 10 years and sell it for double. I said screw that I’m gonna drive it!
7 years old 1800 kilo V12 Dramatic doors and badge and sound and what not And still faster than gt2rs and 918 spyder Gonna be multi million car in few years for sure
@@nimish2073 1800kilo is a joke for a lightweight track focused car with a carbon tub. Also, gt2rs has beaten it on more tracks. The gearbox is the worst thing, if it's a multi million dollar car someday then it's way overpriced and overrated. The doors are just for posing and the badge has no racing heritage, a tractor maker's badge.
I think misha showed a lot of respect to the car in this lap, shifting a little earlier and overall being more safe (maybe it wasn't as confidence ispiring as other cars?).
I've seen you do laps in so many different cars but this was one of my favorites. It's not a track car, but damn, that looked (and sounded) like so much fun. Kudos to the owner for actually driving his car and for letting you thrash it during TF. IMO, it's one of the greatest supercars of all time because it's got the looks and sounds that make it an occasion with more than enough performance for a street car.
This video was so fun to watch! I had a game and used to drive the Aventador on the Nurburgring many dozens of times. I know it was a game, but the LP700 was 20km/h slower in every corner. The sound of the engine was so familiar on the track.
I am the owner of this Mini .The car has 300HP on low boost what i drive in the Vid an d i have a passenger inside so i drove not 100 % . The same vid i have from my onboard on my Channel .
Misha this was one of the most enjoyable laps you’ve filmed so far. So nice to see a car like this being driven properly and you were very respectful to it at the same time, good job mate 👏🏼 More cars like this please people 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I can speak from my experience, watching my 2015rr with low mileages is very pleasant , driving the bike it’s hole other level , wheelie curves gives you something that full fill your memory and living the life . One Day we all get older and having that memories and experiences fulfills us more than a new old bike in the garage
Yeah, very "shocking". I don't know how Porsche can have lightning fast smooth shifts, yet this thing shakes the cameras around like a clutch dump every upshift.
Guys it’s because the SVJ has a single clutch transmission, not a dual clutch A dual clutch transmission is one of the main ways to make shifting smooth and not as violent as this case in the SBJ
Yes and it is because the gearbox isn't properly tuned for smooth and quick shifts. Watch how a 430 Scuderia shifts, it also has single clutch automated manual gearbox.
@@CITRUS-- I know these have a single clutch. I’ve owned single clutch Ferrari in the past. I forget every time I see these cars how violent the shifts are. I personally hate single clutch transmissions. They feel awful, and the shifting is slow.
What a drive misha 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Shout out to owner, having fun on the passenger seat, must feel all the adrenalin through his body😅, and the black mini is insane 🔥🔥.
The reason Every normal and proper race cars have paddle Shifters fixed is for couple of very important reasons. #1 is that you dont mix it while driving. They are fixed. When you hands are twisted your brain thinks left is right right is left. #2 any time you go in and out of the turn, you dont need to shitf, you shift only then when the steering wheel is already in the proper place and you can either upshift or downshift.
