Thank you harry for posting , in 1977 a russion fellow bought an rx-7 turbo from me for his wife ..The next day he shows up at my place with a red Espada , identical to that ...He said lets go for a ride ...He pulled over on the highway, got out & said you drive ...I was nervous & a little shocked ...I stalled it straight away , then , got the feel & took off ...I said where is the redline ...He said in his broken english " Lamborgini have no redline" I immediately fell for the car ...He told me he got his best fuel economy at 110 mph , he said , just before the the second barrel s on the webbers open up.. I remember him flying to the factory in Italy to get the original factory paint ... Just in case he ever needed to do a respray or repair any dings or dents...

My god how beautiful an experience. That thing sounds so strong and smooth, I can only imagine driving one in the early 1970's after being in the other 4 seaters at the time....

I just (14/12/2013) fixed the 1980's vintage pioneer head unit from this very car, having the other day modified an old Blaupunkt radio to line-out & MP3 in with a small Alpine ext. amp for his old Mercedes, previously to that repaired vintage Alpine kit/EQ in Mr Metcalf's Countach. Met him today and a nice knowledgeable man he is, knows all the mechanicals as a proper petrolhead, I honestly didn't know he was so 'famous' as I said, nice bloke.

Thank you, I quite enjoyed that. Very educational, very interesting. I have a friend who owns a 1974 Jaramah, which I think was the last of the front engined ones. When I first saw it (about '86) I thought he'd bought one of the brand new Supras, and asked him about it. Of course, he nearly punched me... It's been of the road for work and restoration for years now. I've always had an ambition to drive it, but haven't been offered.

They had the choice for the third production line. A new four-seater or a new SUV. Everybody wanted the Estoque, so we got the Urus...
@Lianpe98
@Lianpe98 3 года назад
@@DeBedschbacher enthusiast who can't afford lambos wanted the Estoque, people who can afford lambos anted the Urus. But now that Lamborghini has a much better income thanks to the URUS sales (they even had to limit them), Lamborghini can afford to also make a four seater, they've said that there will be one in the next few years.

The main issue is, that leaded gasoline is difficult or impossible to find. So some older cars might need new valves of hardened material to cope with unleaded gasoline.

ive been In Ferrari's and Ive been in Lambo's. Ferrari's have a manufactured feel to them. but lambo's have more of a crafted feel to them the two makes are completly different. like apples and orange's. ferrari's seem to be stark feeling Inside, but an older lambo has a custom feel to it like it was made to fit your build.

For me, the Espada and the even stranger-looking Jarama that always were the favorites. I don't think Ferruccio Lamborghini ever got the full credit he deserved for inventing the whole Grand Tourer class. If it weren't for him, Ferrari would still be building very barely street-legal racecars.

Well, it has nothing to do with Harry's English or articulation, which is indeed fine :) It's just that it happens quite often he's talking while driving loud cars, which makes it hard to understand sometimes. That bit starting from 11:50 for example, I really had to try hard to understand that perfectly.
