I would take this thing over an SV every day because it's lighter, smaller which means it's more usable, it has double clutch gearbox, it's way cheaper and although it doesn't look as aggressive and beautiful as an SV it's more of a drivers car than a car that you want to show off.
Andre675LT - It would also be amazing if they were to make the Huracan spyder's roof the same as the Aventador roadster, instead of the horrible looking soft top. I reckon they would sell a lot more if that were the case, just looks so much better.
Joe Bradley I agree but I guess some prefer ease of pushing a button. I'm surprised that no one has bought the coupe and just cut the roof off to fit in the boot. Surely it wouldn't cost more than £10-20K to do that?
Chukuman - It's just the Italian way, couldn't be bothered doing the extra engineering, haha. You probably could do that, but it wouldn't be very stable. I guess you could buy a spyder that has already been made more stiff then try and make a roof that pops on and off like the Aventador.

I Was never a big fan of the Murcielago, Aventador and Gallardo, but, man, theres something about this one... looks and sounds so good. Not to mention the time it went aroud the Ring.
JWW has to have the best content on RU-vid right now in terms of all the cars channel out there. He is always up to date with pretty much all the new super cars that's coming out with great video quality. Can't get enough of it. James, that part near the end with the designer and the tape..... probably one of the coolest things I've seen related to cars. Just pure awesome. On another note.... would so much rather have this than the 720s

I think this is the car for you Mr JWW - you love the theatre of the Aventador, the sound, the drama and how visceral it is but not the single clutch gearbox and the feeling that as an overall package it falls a little short next to its rivals - this however ticks all the boxes and (imo) is one of if not the best looking super car out there - it's a proper weapon with all the modern sensibilities:)
He was just listening and did not interrupt him, it was totally fine, if you are behind a car like this and JWW smashes the throttle you can't just talk like your the history teacher.
Its pretty stiff eh? The way it was handling those bumps on the mountain road was pretty harsh. Just another example of the James May theory about cars developed on the Nurburgring.
Great video as always man, I love how impartial you are to all cars/manufacturers, not swayed by brand deals etc. It's cool to see Lamborghini finally produce a car that can actually perform whilst still having their traditional flair and flamboyance. Also nice to have Gordon ride along to hear what he thinks as well, and very cool that you filmed that segment in the design room; not something that I have seen or really thought about before! I really want some of that tape now to see what I could do lol

I know the 720S is faster but nahh, i would pick the performante any day because how much speed you want? The performante is already super quick and the power is much more usable than the 720S but the big difference is that engine JUST LISTEN TO ITTTT
You can get the matte finish on the exterior. If you choose to get the gloss it is called the Styling Package. It comes standard matte finish as I understand when a friend of mine when speccing his out.

Ale sued Gordon(Effspot) for showing where he lived on an IG livestream but the judge threw it out of court and dismissed the case because it was a waste of time and he never actually showed where he lived. Makes you think differently about Salamondrin.
Great video, I have always been a massive Lambo fan, the standard Huarcan was my fav car when it came out. As was the superleggera before it. I adore the Performante the sound of that mighty V10 is bonkers. The looks are almost perfect. My only visual dislike is the crushed carbon which is ugly. Thanks for the video :)

The car is OK but let's be honest, Lamborghini cheated in their lap time record at Nürburgring and the proof is their own video compared to the one of the 918, plus the evident editing they did. Plus, is the Huracan, a car designed to sell many times without a single drop of the old Lambo style. I would take any Ferrari or Mclaren over this car any day.
