Now is definitely NOT the time to be buying a car. Average car cost $47K?! That's insane! Check your ego at the door - you need a vehicle to get back and forth to work, not to impress anyone. An auto finance rate of 7%+ is an insult to anyone with excellent credit. No thanks. Those new cars can sit on the lot and rot away for all I care.

Last of the naturally aspirated small Lambos for sure, they've done very well not to go turbo so far. Well done Harry!

Am I the only one that thinks this is proof we are at peak stupidity in the supercar market and we are in for a bubble burst? The concept is ridiculous, if you want a competent off-roader, go get one, but a $400k car with $40k in paint options will never be used off road.. it's comical... Super car market is jumping the shark... Can we go back to making the best cars we can and stop with the foolishness? This is a billionaire's garage queen....

I think you might find that the reason you have to manually switch on the LED light bars each time is because they are illegal on the road (off-road use only) Like the 911 Dakar, this car is far better suited to our road surfaces - still with far more performance than you will ever get the chance to explore. Roof bars look daft.

This is so good, such a pitty that this is not just a trim option in the regular line-up. Would be the more suited car for a lot of users, actually

I'd don't think I've ever been more jealous after watching one of your videos - hooning a Sterrato around your own wet field looks like the biggest laugh ever. I thought the idea of an off-road Huracan was the most stupid thing I'd ever heard, but now I want one with every fibre of my being - brilliant video! 😆

I'm surprised youl iked it as much as you did but fully enjoyed the video - clearly it's a hoot to drive both on road and in a field but for that money(!) and all those bolt on bits, the lights, the wheel arches, that snorkel, the paint job, just a bit too much boy racer for in the looks department......fun video to watch though so thanks as ever for bringing it to us all....

Doesn't matter which Sterrato review you watch, whether its Top Gear, or Doug DeMuro or Harry's Garage... all of them have massive smiles on their faces when they drive the Sterrato!

Oh dear, I had to check it wasn't April 1st! Off road ability....really!😂 I'm obviously missing something here but If it makes the V10 more useable on "real" roads then that's a big (and only) plus. Shame it looks like something the boys at Top Gear (the first lot) have knocked together. I'll not mention the price!😲. Really enjoyed the review though👍

It's not rocket science. Less grip, more compliance, more usability, so more fun. Why has it taken manufacturer's so long?

Sterrato comes from the verb 'sterrare', to dig up. Seems appropriate as to what it can do to a loose surface. Those controls are another example of prioritising style over function; seems to be a real race to the bottom between marques these days, whether Ferrari, Lambo or even Range Rover.

Harry, My bog standard Mercedes SLK 55 AMG, has a compression ratio of: 12.6:1. So it doesn't seem the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, is too unusual.

Thats not super high compression, Mitsubishi had 12:1 compression already in the late 90s, in the 1,8L GDI engine.

Watching this video is exhilarating and frustrating in equal measure for me. Not Harry’s review, that is always par excellence of course! It’s that car manufactures do this time and again, let’s raise the ride height a little, put slightly softer springs, higher profile tyres and maybe not chase that lap time or top speed and “et voila!” They lay a golden egg, a car that can be used and enjoyed more of the time and on more of the roads that they should have been designed for in the first place. Don’t get me wrong I love extreme vehicles of any kind and that manufactures still make them. But if Lamborghini had utilised those chassis dynamics from the off with the Huracan, they may of produced one of the best baby supercars of all time. But then again, maybe people believe that they already do.

Amongst the other things I would expect on a car of this price would be a rear facing camera connected to a screen where the rear view mirror is.

Gotta love those added lights by Lamborghini that are attached by 3M double sided tape and could be bought at any hardware store. Added front lights = epic fail

So the question is - is this better farm equipment as new Defender V8? I guess for numerous reasons - it´s a Lambo, it has V10, and last - it´s a Lambo. PS - don´t tell this to fellow farmer J.C.

20 years ago I’d have dismissed this as nothing more than a marketing exercise - but on today’s roads there’s so much to be said for the compliance you get to go with the performance. Would love to see this approach applied to more everyday performance cars……

Enjoyed that, a bit of daft madness especially the field bits to lighten the gloom of winter days and nights! Perhaps the only thing madder is how much they are price gouging on some of the options ( £1800 for a camera that most £35k cars will provide as standard ) Thing is the other Italian marques are just as bad as indeed are the "premium" Germans. Be interesting to see how far they can get before the market (esp if we have a Euro recession ) kicks back. Although given it's sold out perhaps cost/value take on a different meaning in that price bracket!

Vw has the same torquebar for the roof rack. Minus the lambo badge.

There was a very famous TV ad for the Irish Lotto here in Ireland back in the late 80's/early 90's. It featured a farmer laughing his head off as he drove up the road, as the camera pulled out, it revealed he was driving his new Lamborghini, while pulling a trailer behind him 😂 Seeing the joyful glee on your face as you slid around your field Harry, reminded me of that ad. You might have to be pretty rich to buy this car, you definitely would need to win the Lotto to even think about looking at the options list though....Jesus some of those prices are astronomical!! But damn does it sound bloody great though.

I don’t know if someone else has posted this, but 63 is Pecco Bagnaia’s race number (Current MotoGP world champ.) it was a collab between Lambo and Ducati after Pecco won his first world championship (as well as Alvaro Bautista winning WBSK world championship on a Ducati)
