they shouldn't scare you. the lesson here is that you have the power if u need/want it... it doesn't mean every time u roll the throttle it will do this... you can still ride them just as smoothly n as calmly as any other bike (including 600's) it's all about how you ride the bike, not the bike you own. I know guys who own hayabusas n have sworn to have never done over 100... they're great sport touring bikes comfortable n can help you out a BUNCH on the interstate n will go easier on your engine...
If you don't know how to control the amount of power you give you're gonna have a bad time. Hell at my city 125cc's crash all the time due to over speeding and swerving out of control. 300cc - 1000cc people here are actually responsible
+John d dude common 600's are more than enough for everyday city riding,I stay side by side to my buddies with 1000's up until about 240kmh.then after that they are gone.but a 600 is still wicked fast.
Moto gp riders fall at 100+mph pretty often and most if not all of them survive I know there was one guy who crashed at 350kph and had a concussion but otherwise no permanent damage
+kemboy323 It's an unintentional power wheelie. When you go full throttle from a slow roll, your rear wheel is rotating at a higher RPM than your front wheel, kicking you up and forcing a wheelie. Not the riders fault.

Your average out of the box standard 1000cc sports bike, Fireblade, ZX10, GSXR, R1 would trounce the hyper car day in day out, including the Veyron, Le Ferrari, 918 ect, ect. 200kg and 200bhp its a done deal.

It's all about weight guys. I mean CBR has 150 hp and the weighs around 200 kg i guess, where as Huracan weighs around 1422 kg and produces 571 hp. So of course bikes will be faster in acceleration but in straight road cars will always be faster
