ISSIMI - the finest content for the true enthusiast. Writing is just above the rest. It really is! Cinematography is for the bonus. The most underrated automotive channel at the moment. I love the fact that you're not mainstream yet. That said one day you'll probably be! Keep it coming! Quality over quantity.
@@tradingespanol5384 Cheers! I've been following Petrolicious for ages but recently I've forgotten about them, unfortunately. Thanks for reminding! Aesthetically one of the best car channels indeed.
When you already know the story, the amount of raw sound in this clip is what sets it apart from any other productions-regardless of value. It was a joy to watch.
Derek, that was fantastic. You started out a little monotone, but as you got into the story, you became more emotional about the car's significance, and more again as you talked about how to properly drive this beautiful machine. I can only see these Behind The Scenes getting better as you get more under your belt. The emphasis on how to execute a smooth gearchange really was educational. Modern transmissions have synchros and clutches that are so forgiving that you don't have to finesse much at all. Watching you change from 2nd to 3rd, quick then slow on the double clutch, it really gave me an appreciation for your skill and for the mechanical sympathy that's needed to drive one of these cars frequently. Thank you for sharing just a sliver of this experience. I look forward to more!
Appreciate the driving impressions. It's these details that really give a sense of the car, and IMO are sometimes missed by reviews that focus too much on history, often history that is already well-known by anyone watching the video anyway.
#ISSIMI Official Great review about the legendary Lamborghini Miura. Since I found the channel, which is a hidden gem of RU-vid automobile channels btw, I really appreciate the content and in particular the evolution of topics, quality of motion pictures and the story writing. This video captures both the historical context, main engineering and design aspects as well as the imagination by involving the viewer in the driving experience and through superb exterior shots. Best of luck for the future, all the way from France
Yo! Im like you homie / Scottish but all the way from Southa France - home is where the Sun Shines innit bruv!!!!! And that Miura screams a ride! Im totally up for it if the boys @ /SSIMM\ wi the Killer Alienesque Logo bring one down here - the local roads up into Les Cevennes are a dream for a motor like that or maybe even the 2019 Stratos!!!!! Pourquoi Pas? 👽☠😈
That sound... oh my God! Perfect start to the new series Hyphen. I'd love to see more like this. Amazing stuff. Loved the driving impressions too. We mere mortals may never drive one, so its very interesting to hear how it actually drives. Constructive criticism: a few points the music is too loud and covers your voice. Add a little enthusiasm to your narration. But I'm sure you'll get into the groove of it more after doing a few episodes. 10/10!
This BTS series is a gem. This is the 3rd video I've watched and I'm now subscribed and devoted to watch as long as you continue doing these. I'm stunned by how well you document the cars as if they were a 400 year old piece of art. But there's something unique in these video... It feels final. As if you were writing a eulogy to be the final word on these masterpieces should no others ever get the opportunity to see them again. Bravo!
When the video started, I thought "Hey! I recognize that guy!" It wasn't until halfway through that I realized who you were AND that this wasn't a Petrolicious video. Great job on the video! I'm glad to see new things showing up here again! :)
Derrick the lesson this video teaches me is that to drive every vehicle you encounter respectfully because someone might introduce you into this thing you can respectfully drive
Great first video for the series! Looking forward to seeing, more!(your 500e maybe?) the one thing as others mentioned is the sound mix. One or two instances where the music swelled and overshadowed the narration, an easy fix. Long live issimi!
Beautiful car, beautiful cinema photography, beautiful writing, I really thoroughly enjoyed this video, it was an experience within itself, allowing viewers to experience the car to that level is extremely difficult through a media platform and you've done a fantastic job, I can't wait for what's next As a side note at around the 7 minute mark the music becomes a tad to loud forcing viewers to struggle to here hyphens voice, but I digress, fantastic nevertheless!!
Easily one of the best videos I have seen of the Miura. Excellent audio, The narrator’s voice was calming, and the music was very soothing. Great driver, too! Thank you for this video, I will be sharing it with friends.
Absolutely beautiful video, excellent work from Derek and the team at Issimi. I am struggling to contain the tears of joy after watching this video, it is great to people that love cars, make such a wonderful piece, I cannot wait to see what more will come.
Beautiful video. I agree on the sound mixing, but I could watch Derek row those gears on continuous play. Every gear change is marked on the calendar, and in a good way.
This episode was beautiful. Really appreciated the script Derek gave and the clips of the Miura with no music to enjoy the sound the engine revs. I expect only more great content from Issimi, thanks guys.
This was fantastic. I found myself weirdly checking to make sure I hit the like button all the time while watching this. The music, the writing, the shots.....just amazing. Great job everyone
Although I have never driven a Miura, you've captured what make me want to drive one. Thank you for describing, in detail, what's it is like to be behind the wheel of one of the world's most important sports cars ever made.
"BTS with DT-S"* Fantastic presentation by the way. And you truly are a hero, Derrick Tam Hyphen Scott, for sharing this with everyone on the road of all places and not just a CnC or showroom. Thank you!
I love this, detailed, precise, and a honest film. but I must ask did you guys hire the old Top gear sound editor? Feels like its slightly imbalanced at times when you're talking and the music is playing hyphen. Please don't take this in bad spirits this is a fantastic film.
Bravo, bravo... Bravo, Mr T-S... brilliant, insightful narration.. gorgeous cinematography, effective and tasteful use of historic footage and b-roll, and lovely location choice.. what a strong debut, and hopefully a sign of what’s to come.
Oh Highway 1. Every time I think of moving out of California I'm reminded of all the different environments you can see just going down highway 1 and I'm like damn...She is beautiful, you've got to admit...
I saw a miura once I have the guy a hand shake and said thank you for driving it and letting common people as my self get to see such wonderful craftsmanship .he looked at me and said you welcome
The muira is the quintessential exotic car. It’s one of the most influential legendary car of our time. One of my top 5 cars of all time. Just exquisite!
Musics much louder than speaker, and miss Jason’s emotion in his voice, doesnt sound like he’s just reading from a script... but god is that a pretty car
