I’m using the TT clubman. In either case, static ignitions are preferred where there is no ‘hole to fill’ at the bottom end… that could include both clubman pipes AND touring expansions. The only time I like variable ignitions, is on revvy race pipes which are lacking under 5k-rpm
The port timings are specific to the exhaust, as advised by its manufacturer… Usually I’m happy to share such info, but I’m I’m not yet at liberty to release that info without permission. Will advise accordingly if that changes 👍
