Lord forgive me. I have turned my back and ran from you time and time again. In fear of what is behind me. Blinded by the devil and his distractions in my present. Lord please help me learn to silence the noise that is not your voice. Lord I want to make room for you and only you. God I pray that you break the chains that have kept me bound. The have kept me down. That have kept me depressed. That have kept me worried. That have made me feel inadequate. That have made me feel uneasy. That have made me feel consumed in anything but your love god. I pray that I find strength again in your love. In your Grace. In your mercy. And in your power god. For only you know what is in store for me. I pray that I learn to let go. May that fear be shattered so that I may step into your light father. I need you. I know that I can’t do this without you. I don’t want to live another day away from your guidance father. I am lost. I can not see. I wish to be cleansed by you of all things that are not like you father. I will carry my cross for as long as I need to father. Please forgive me for I am a weak sinner who knows better.

As a public health professional with a disabled child, this Bible story always broke my heart. I couldn't see Jesus being as harsh to the man as some preachers described. I loved that Pastor Madu explained that Jesus approached the man with compassion. He wanted to heal him, but the man also needed to surrender his lame excuses. The miracle happened when the man agreed with Jesus to no longer lay down but to get up and take his mat.

This sermon felt like it was 11 minutes😩... I still wanted to hear more🥺, that is how good it was. I thank the Lord for always giving me sermons that relates to my current states of life... I believe this word was for me today. I recently lost my grandfather after praying and believing that God would heal him.Before then, I had been praying for things to change financially for my family. Admittedly, I was beginning to lose hope. I was on "the porch" with the woe is me syndrome. However, I don't want to make any lame excuses . Lord I want to be made whole. I am deciding to believe God again in spite of what I see. Thank you pastor for this word!

This was for me!! For the last week or so I’ve been hearing God say to me “Do you want to get well?!” I thought how funny it would be if the church sermon was on that. I went to my home church and it was on spiritual warfare which hit me hard also and all I could think is NO MORE EXCUSES. but them TONIGHT!! it was on exactly what Gods been saying to me and on NO MORE EXCUSES!! God bless you Elevation church. Wow what a message. Please pray that my mom will be able to safely be discharged from hospital soon and that she won't need anymore surgery. Pray for our housing situation. We have to move soon yet places are hard to come by with the special requirements needed and for me personally that even in my exhaustion and brokenness I never lose sight of the joy in raising my special needs pre teen.

That can pastor Steve for all that you've done for me that God has used you as an instrument and my healing I suffered from triple heart failure double kidney. Failure never failure services to deliver diabetes and I was in my hospital bed and all I could do was worship God and through your messages God had to use you. Words I needed to hear today, I've let my troubles get ahold of me emotionally. I just want to stop feeling this sadness in my soul.
