@@honcho-l1hits just that theres so many other people that are worlds above him in the league rn. Jokic, tatum, giannis, not to mention the inhuman beast luka doncic. Theres just no way he can win mvp in the era of superstars hes in. I would love to be wrong, but sadly he wont be taking the mvp trophy home
@@zwoptfwhere tf is scoot now he ain’t making no waves an idiot the most overhyped draft player in this year dude need more development and shouldn’t went in top 3 he can’t shoot at all
Lamelo is different guys. He's got something that is just simply not common. shooting unearthly, handles unbelievable, passing ungodly....this kid could have a Steph curry like impact on the league.
As a Hornets fan, I would have loved for our franchise to have a chance to ruin Wemby, lol. But having a decent point guard might have made his rookie season a lot better than what the Spurs have trotted out so far.
@@datscrazy4095 no they wouldn't. Just cuz a franchise is bad for years doesn't mean superstars just melt when they come there. Bad luck and bad draft picks that's what happened
Lamelo is "Quietly" averaging almost 30 and not many people around the NBA are even talking about it. Get this man more playmakers around him and he could be an MVP if he continues to play this way.
Looks like he's starting to get comfortable with playing physical. Add that to his virtually complete skillset at his height, he's really gonna be a problem. Hope he can avoid injuries and drama.
@@freebrix8149 even maxey dont know if he got paid though, vessel also coming up nicely he just needs to gkve wemby the ball more he would also get his shine
Fr I feel like all 4 of them have been hyped up to be future superstars let alone stars by atleast a sizeable amount of people. Unlikely but could be a top 5 rookie class of all time if one of them becomes a top 20 type of player.
He always played against his brothers and older competition. It’s clear that he’s so in tune with his game and finding ways to freeze the defense and not only set his teammates up but himself as well. He can shoot from deep because I guarantee it was the only way to get up a good look back in the day because he was so much shorter😂
He’s starting to get used to his body in the way he was when he was 6’3” at chino hills. He was already very smooth but this is the smoothest he’s looked in his post chino hills days except he’s plays smarter and is even getting more physical. This team can be a title contender in 2 years l if they don’t play rozier and Hayward and let Ball, Miller, Bridges, and Williams fully develop and don’t get into offcourt issues lmao. I’d get 3 and D guys for Rozier and Hayward from a trade even if they don’t get full value for them.
Yea they need wings that play like Kelly oubre. Play smothering defense, athletic on the break, and can knockdown catch and shoot 3s. Hayward alright for rn but not contending with him on the squad. He should look forward to coming off the bench because miles and melo getting 15-20 shots a game. Terry should be open to being 6th man as well. Could win so many more games with rotations like that and help prevent injuries for the vet players so they can be healthy
@@freebrix8149 rozier would be perfect for a 6th man but based on prev history and just gut feeling he won’t be open to it while he’s 28 in his prime. By the time he is it’ll be too late and just hinder development. I think Hayward would be more open to a 6th man role since his role and command on team has been reducing every year and is getting old.
Nah that pass at 3:39 is wild yk how accurate and confident you gotta be to do some shit like that that …kid is different for sure true wizard with the ball
Melos draft class is not bad at all. Ant. Melo. Haliburton ... So glad GSW picked James Wiseman. Hahaha. The worst part is they actually CALLED Melo during their 10min window to tell him he was their guy. Then some nuclear level shit happened. Someone, whomever it is, will have his head in the sand today, axed that move. I thought it might be coach Kerr but I'm now thinking it's someone else. The rest is history.
@@PTCALnot directly. He had a running name-calling battle with Melos pops. Kerr called Lavar the Kardashian of basketball. Lavar heard it and fired back: You the Milli Vanilli of basketball. LOL. Some might say that's true. So being called Milli Vanilli cut Kerr to the bone. He was beyond pissed.
He is playing like an anime character, his move is so unbelieveable unreal unti we see it ourself, I mean what the hell of a pass is on 3:31 , on 1:13 he just frickin tipped a lose ball to assist, that is kuroko basketball pass type of shenanigans. this guy's skills is just different..
California is a pipeline of NBA talent. i know other places get more love than Cali, but the level of top NBA talent that comes out of there is impressive.
you sound like an idiot lol Mj was called the greatest basketball player that has ever lived as a freshman in College by dean smith and Boddy knight after cooking the NBA Olympic team as a college player lol just say he is good smh
LaMelo would have been doing what he is doing his rookie year. Jordan and the Hornets organization finally gave LaMelo the keys. Now everyone see what he is doing with the keys now.
Congratulations LaMela Ball You're In great Company Some Of The Hornets Finest Especially In Scoring You Are Young Hang In There With Your Teammates And You Will Be One Of Basketball Finest, In Scoring And Creative Passing. Go Hornets
LaMelo Ball is probably the most natural shooter in the NBA next to Stephon Curry. Like Curry, Ball has that soft floating shot around the rim. Ball has exceptional ball handling ability, passing ability, and excellent court vision. He can penetrate as well; he can absolutely score on anyone at anytime. De'Aaron Fox once said that LaMelo Ball is hard to guard because he has so many herky-jerky moves with the ball and makes split decisions with the ball even before the defense can react
Respectfully this how the Sixers need maxey to play he has the speed but his handles not quite as good. Hats off to Melo truly a superstar it’s undeniable
