If most or all of the refs in the league are behaving the same way, it’s probably because they were directed by the league to act that way. There’s always an asshole but if they’re all assholes then they probably are being told to be assholes and put their foot down to the players. It definitely annoys the shit outta me but I feel like it’s bigger than the refs deciding on their own to act this way
