Your reading of Lamentations was so colorful, painting a picture of desolation that can only lead us to hope and our Lord. I got so much more out of it when you read it than when I read it on my own. It makes me want to pray without ceasing for this world. Thank you.

It has been a few days since I've been continuously crying in the presence of the lord and have been crying about an incident. The bible has always been my source of everything, when I look for hope, a sign, comfort or an answer to my prayers it's all in the bible. A few months ago my fiancè and I met a pastor online and that was a time when we had committed a sin. So the pastor said if we get married, we'd be divorced. This happened quite a few times until he got discouraged and walked out of our engagement. The past few months have been hard for me, that person who's waiting on the lord is me. Broken, waiting for restoration of what's lost. So when I asked the lord what should I do? Is there hope for him and I? Should I wait or move on lord I cannot simply stop loving him. In my heart, he's already my husband and I don't know if I rushed into the relationship or made a wrong choice but here's the thing. Around a year ago in the beginning of August when I met him, both my grandma and mom heard a voice saying that I would marry a Pastor's son and my mom saw a vision where God had his hand on my head and held my right hand with one of his and said that he has a partner for me. So all the years I was alive nothing of this sort happened but when he came into my life or I shall say when the lord brought him into my life. I already started falling for him and told God. What should I do lord? I think I like him, but I'm scared, I've already been through a heartbreak and I can't take another one. If it's your will please talk to me and that's how we got into a relationship and got engaged after a few months. Waiting to get married as soon as we're financially a little stable. But then this happened. So ever since the pastor said that. A new fear within me has begun. So everytime I read god's word I get so scared and tell God please I don't want to misunderstand your voice or your words. So I prayed and asked God to show me a preacher who will help me. That's when I came accross pastor Paul. Yesterday as I prayed about my ex (tbh I don't like calling him that because I still love him and want to marry him) I told god please show me what to do. Lord, I need you to talk to me. I opened the bible and we have lamentations 3. So I read it and go like wow. This is what my picture right now looks like. Especially where I have to bear the yoke of my youth and it's good to wait quietly and hope in the lord. Also the part where man can say anything but unless the lord commands it ain't gonna happen. That's when this pastor and his words popped up in my head. So I am just going to pray and wait. I hope God will change his heart and make him understand and bring him back to my life. So if God Unites no man can ever separate. Please pray for me 🥺🙏🏻 I really want to understand God's will in this area although my desire is to get married to him and serve the lord together ❤️
Naomi it's been a while since you posted this, but I am praying that anxiety and fear you feel of misunderstanding or missing something in the Word, is confronted by peace in the Spirit and hope.in the Lord for understanding His Word. One step at a time. One study at a time. One mistake at a time. He will always be there for you in understanding and otherwise. ❤❤❤love you sis

It is necessary to study the Book of Jeremiah first before reading the Book of Lamentations. It is about the land of Israel. Before the talk started, an ad came on for an organization called One For Israel. It was a long ad about learning the history of Israel and the Jewish people. They recommend this in order to better understand their interpretation of Messiah and how it relates to understanding more deeply about Our Lord.
