Thanks so much for this commentary! I totally feel your sentiments. The audience is choosing to stick by those whom they relate to the most. A lot of bitter messy women who just want attention relate to Bettie and Wanda. Insecure girls who want the spotlight and easily become jealous relate most to Stormi and Tisha. Pick me(s) relate most to Kimmi, and women who just want to do the best they can, cut off toxicity, and focus on leveling up relate most to Melody. lol it’s so interesting seeing how people naturally choose cast members who mirror their lives as their favorite

These people needs to stop the drama and you are right these people are not helping Melody but when you say that in a comment they come for you and to me that's not a Melody supporter I have never see Melody start drama. Betty pretty much said this in the last episode. She said WhEN I GO ONLINE TO GO AGAINST MELODY…HER FOLLOWERS ATTACK ME. she then said I HAVE THE RIGHT TO ATTACK HER IF I DONT LIKE WHAT SHE IS DOING. As if others don’t have the right to speak against what BETTY IS DOING. SMH
If you believe in physiognomy, Every single person looks like how they are! This cast would be a good study of this. I knew Tisha was slow and insecure, by how she looked. Then she stated it, regarding her speech. Marsau, cunning. Martel charming, Melody, sweet and spicy. Kimmie, a snake. The way she pokes her face out, when speaking, Mimics a snake to me. It’s subtle. Maurice, a goofy gaslighter. His entire face gives, I’m a liar, and I’ll try to make you go along with it.
Yes, I absolutely believe in physiognomy, lol. I used to study illustration, and a key component of character design is drawing the face/body/clothing to match the personality of the character. This is why some people are typecast to play certain roles because they look like archetypes.
I think alot of the audience may be disappointed in the cast for their imperfections. They were advertised and the facade they portray on the show was supposed to be inspirational; however, they have proven to be anything but that. I think if they were honest about their real true lives, the audience wouldn't be so critical, but here we are.
They are tearing the Scott brothers down because they allowed their other brother to speak on Mel, her daughter and Miss Van. Why would anyone support or defens those people?
I have never in my life seen a show derail to this level and cause so much toxicity. This needs to be the last season. It has totally deviated from the original premise of the show. I like Mel’s business acumen and would like to see those types of story lines on the show. More goes on outside the show that has ran this show in the ground. I wish Mel continued business success, but this needs to end.
This is why I think Mel needed to leave this show a few seasons ago. She is already doing good things, and she will do more, but she has to protect her energy. Know when to get off of the Titanic.
I think you should rewatch:listen to the video. She said several times it’s not the melometers or the other fanbase. There are some on all sides who cause drama. A lot of it stems because our community relates to dramatic relationships, in enjoy rifts between one another.
One thing, I'll address is, nobody is coming for Tisha's marriage, imo. But if Tisha can talk on others marriage, then she needs to be woman & deal with what she does to others. If the cast would've treated Melody like they wanted to be treated, this show would be #1 on all channels. Great commentary! ❤
At the end of the day the head of the snake is the people who has control over the show - they’re acting 🎭 and recording then showing it to the audience for the good or the bad
Prioritize what must be addressed over petty gossip. 99% of this fighting is over nothing. The remaining 1% of important issues should be brought to the cast.
I adore your commentary and I have missed listening to you when it comes to lamh, but I have distanced myself from this toxic show as well, I will forever love and support Melody, but is extremely disturbing is how some older women wish failure and pain on younger black women. I unsubscribe from most CC that discussed this show as well. You are correct the are using the show and the cast to fuel their own personal desire for drama and dysfunction. I will never understand why you want to keep up with ppl you dislike so much. Excellent commentary as always, you are my absolute fav. 💞

Thank you MOL, per usual you’re spot on! I’ve also stepped back from LAMH for similar reasons. I have asked in the comment section in your earlier content: how can we as a people move forward with these types of black women in the community-as they each woman on this show represents a type of black woman that we see regularly…Unfortunately, I quickly came to the conclusion that we can’t move forward as long as we continue to enjoy destroying our community. I would still like to see your views on the impact of some of these themes that we see throughout the show. Thank you for your hard work. ❤
You preached a word with this commentary, not everyone likes to see or hear the drama. I said it before and I will say it again some of the things the CC do under the guise of reporting info is too much and it seems to be ok until the shoe is put on the other foot.
I agree with everything you said. Mel is focused on her business and her children and everyone else should do the same. I see the viciousness the other cast members experience, but I also feel it’s a result of the audience witnessing the ongoing abuse of Mel. I think the entire cast can be a positive representation of black business owners, but their jealousy and hate for Mel is what I find jarring. I want to see Tisha, Destiny, Kimmie and Stormi win. The men ehhhhhh I don’t think any of them are any good tbh except Courtney.
Even if I disagree with you, I usually understand your perspective. I don't understand what you're talking about today. Tisha & Marsau assisted Martell in financing his infidelity. They took action to assist in taking down a marriage, a family. It's not about being perfect. The cast has taken vicious action against her & the people wanted justice. What happens when people want justice? They gather. They protest. So the viewers who became Melometers "protested" online. Since when is protesting toxic? There are extremists everywhere. Some people go too far. Some even act like looters in the night who hijack a peaceful protest. The other side is not letting up. They continue to attack, from Bettie's own words, she attacks. What are we supposed to do? Lay down & watch? No, we defend. It's a cycle that they have to stop 1st.
What "justice?" Melody got her freedom, she's doing great financially, Martell seems to be under control now with the restraining order. "Justice" sounds like revenge to me, and this is why people think the fans are weaponized. What does "justice" look like, Tisha getting a divorce? Marsau losing his business? Who is going to be exacting this "justice?" Melody asked you all to get justice for her?

I have to agree with this comment. Everything that has been happening to them, the melometers has NOTHING to do with ‼️ it’s a few people being messy airing their business but no one is going extreme except 1 or 2 CCs that’s actually going to establishments but people went to Kandi businesses & gave reviews & it was not a problem for RHOA fans. People go hard for Melody simply because no one else is in her corner and most of every one played a role in her heartbreak AND constantly attacking her. She’s not addressing these ppl for nothing, she’s tired too. No one is in her corner except her fan base whether they’re extreme or not. Right, the only ppl that were arrested THIS year was Martell, Martell's brother Monte, Stormi, Destiny & Maurice .... Maurice just got arrested for a DUI earlier this month... Destiny was arrested in May & then again this month (June)... Stormi was arrested about 3 months ago ... & Martell and his brother was arrested in January this year ..... that's all... so, as far as the rest that were arrested years ago, there should be some Grace .... especially since they already served their time ... Melody has been divorced 4-5 years. Her friendship with Destiny the same. They keep throwing in her face, Martell, & Arionne. Destiny with the she wasn’t a good friend. This could be let go too!

Excellent points of consideration & lol a lot of this content truly resonates within me bcuz the ease in which black women can speak hate onto another black woman & double down on it based off 12 or so minutes of airtime & bcuz another cast mate ( hell even in day to day interactions) is their fav or more popular. All Martel had to do was stop cheating and she gave him 5yrs. Now he is mad cause Mel is living the life she had with him and that’s what’s killing him. If any of the cast members feel Melody and her fans are toxic to the show, they can do one of two things. They can leave the show or they can all band together and go to Carlos King and tell him that Melody has got to go.

I used to feel sorry for Meoldy because of the way she was treated in her marriage but I now see that she's a female version of Martell execpt she's smart and strategic and Martell is dumb. Both are sneaky, petty and vindictive. If Melody was a decent person, she would speak out against her fans trying to sabotage the businesses of her castmates but she condones their actions because she's just as toxic as her fans. Melody has been cyberbullying many cast members, and she and her mother have been releasing information to the blogs. Since you haven't been keeping up, you've missed out on a lot of these events. I understand why Ms. Betty and Wanda reacted to Melody including her following (Melometers) bullying the cast. Just because she has 4 kids doesn’t mean anything when she’s doing horrible things behind the scenes. Allegedly. None of the cast members' followers have called up establishments to get products off the shelves, stalked them at their places of business/homes, talked badly about Melody’s children, released addresses to the blogs, etc., except for Melody and the Melometers, allegedly. What’s even more sad is that this behavior is coming from elders aged 50 to 64, which is the show's primary demographic audience.
Everything you just wrote is a lie. Mel has never come out and said anything about any cast. There is evidence that the cast and their families have always come for Mel.
