Does Martell’s mother ever have the guts to speak up and say, son you are wrong? I have three sons and they don’t even have to guess about what I will say in their treatment of their wives or significant others.t They know I am going to say, right is right, and wrong is wrong. I will not bite my tongue in telling them if they are wrong. That’s what a sane parent should do. Being a single parent is no excuse. Martell should stop and think, would I want my daughter’s to have a husband like me?

Birthing a child does not make one a parent. Woman up and tell that son of yours when he is wrong. Make suggestions to him if what is right in terms of ex wife and children. Remember, right is right, and wrong is wrong. Does he ever interact with his father? Men will not put up with nonsense and tell it like it is. It’s been reported that often single black women treat their sons like husbands rather than the child they should be. Don’t uphold him in his stuff. It might be a good idea that you both do family counseling in addition to individual because he still has the chance to be the man and husband he should have been.
