Good thing is; he was found guilty of the harassing communications. He received probation for 1 year he can not contact Mel or be around her. At least she will get a break for a year
This commentary brought me to tears because the truth you spoke was strong. I definitely didn’t want them to get a divorce but l find so much inspiration in Mel’s strength
What's so sad is - even if Martell heard this message, it would not resonate with him because he would not receive it. He CANNOT receive it because he is blocked and self righteous. It's a shame. He had everything going for him. It would be great if he would be willing to turn his life around. I hope he eventually does, for his own sake.
Excellent perspective👏👏👏!Martel will continue to be in a constant downhill battle with himself until he is fully able to come to terms with everything he did to his family.Mel represent everything good that he once had and has now lost.On a psychological level he is unable to let her go because that would mean he would be letting go of the best part of him that in reality no longer exist.

Excellent commentary. Martel will not improve unless he undergoes intensive therapy. Exploring one therapy session here and one session there will not address his issues. He will be the same five years from now if he doesn’t work on himself or he’ll be in prison or maybe in the grave.
@lynwill, Yes, exactly! You made some great points. In my opinion, he is afraid of therapy because it will get to the root of his self-hate and self-sabbatoging nature, which may be related to severe childhood trauma.
Maurice and Mausau do not get a pass. They are the reason partly he cheated. They covered up and helped him with the mistress and when it got out of hand they walked away from him and did not encourage him to course correct.
@@candy9544 well my mother always said you can lead a horse to the water but you can’t make em drank besides Marsau and Maurice still have their marriage. Not to say they were any less a part of the creep squad however shame on Martell for allowing himself to be somebody’s fool.
This commentary was so uplifting and on point. A lot of people will benefit from this advice if they let go of the fear inside but it’s not easy and takes a lot of work.
I cried when I saw they were getting a divorce . I even prayed after the divorce maybe things would work out and they find their way back together but Martel has done too much to Melody . All he can do as you said is to take care of himself , that he can be good to himself and his children . Very sad

This is a good breakdown of what has happened to him. However, because he is not in his right mind he will never accept any advice about him having any fault. He is a narcissist who cannot change because he will not change. He is either demon-possessed or demon-oppressed. He is unrepentant because he cannot see his faults. I have over forty years of experience with a man like this. I stayed so long because I was mentally and emotionally abused and did not realize the effect of the abuse because of the manipulation and lies. They cannot change, and they will never get help. I am so proud of Melody for getting away before she was totally destroyed. Even at my age, once I came to realize what happened to me, the Most High God told me to go and that it was not necessary to stay with anyone who despise you for being the kindhearted person you are.
Sad to say this reminds me of my mother. A strong intelligent woman. Yet my father is a narcissist. My brother and I only have relationship with our father because of our mother. Children never forget especially the oldest. When parents cheat and abuse the spouse, the children take it personally.

I actually think Sunni and Destiny were really good work friends not best friends. But, they were friends. Destiny and Sonny's personalities and temperament are so similar to me.
What is wrong with you? Anytime a man can go 15 years on and off, meet someone else and marry her within a year...he knows what he wants and doesn't want. Destiny is not a likable person, what about her husband? Moses was done with her for sure when she got married. Do you even know any men?
