Hello everyone! I present to you my own take on one of PGR (Punishing: Gray Raven)’s boss theme ‘Lamia’!! I was so excited on making a cover on this theme as it was one of my most favourite track from Vanguard Sound (the studio that creates PGR’s soundtracks and many other games). I hope you all enjoyed this new refreshment, I wrote in my community post yesterday that I will be doing something new. I will still be doing Genshin themes but I just like to have some refreshment and go out from Genshin once in a while and to show you my for a lack of a better word, ‘other side’ outside of Genshin themes. So far, Lamia has been one of the most difficult track for me to remake. I am still learning my way around electronic elements and there were so many sound designs involved in this specific track. But after hearing the final result I think I’m quite happy on how it turned out! It does not sound 100% the same as the original one since I wanted to incorporate my own sound as well. OH! Also, this is my first ever track on RU-vid that involved a real singing! Huge thanks to my friend Kathleen (credits on the description) who was so kind to help me out with the choirs throughout the song especially in 3:48! This is amazing Farabi! The mix of electronic and orchestral elements in here sounds very professional, I very much loved the biting strings and brass along with the driving synths. Huge congrats to Kathleen for the vocals too, they were goegeous!

Man, what a great timing, just few months ago I tested P:GR. I'll wait for PC client to come since I'd prefer to play it this way instead of mobile. I must admit, game already caught my heart as combination of Nier with Honkai Impact, but in serious, dark tone. I actually checked some of available OSTs on Vanguard Sound channel and Lamia is definitely my favorite. Entire "trans" genre of music which P:GR uses conquered me. Thank you for remaking it!

This is the first time I hear about PRG, but I listened to the original. This time I liked it more (to be more precise, electronic sounds), although a real choir is a big plus. Keep up the good work, Farabi!

came on your channel from the genshin osts (specifically natlan's cause i have a crippling obsession with that theme) but damn didn't know you made some for pgr too! i love the use of those fog horns(i forgot what instrument that's called lol) especially at 1:30 and somewhat reminded me of pacific rim, probably because both the movie and game's chapter were set on the oceans lol. awesome rendition overall!

i don't know if this is a game or anime or what, this is cool, if she is a villain (well i think she is a villain) that means it's very good, yeah, just looking at the picture is cool, and yep, music is personality, mostly music is indeed a person's personality, if he is a quiet person, and a villain, surely the music has something like epic innate, and that really shows someone's personality, so, just by looking at the picture, I already know that this will definitely be very cool, 9 /10
