I believe "learning something new" every once in a while helps to keep our minds sharp! I am looking forward to learning all about how to create "jumping water" with music! Why is it so important to remove ALL turbulence? Is there anyway to add colored lights to each "jet/stream of water?" So, there could be flashes of more than one color in a single spray? I saw another use coffee stirrers in place of drinking straws. Do you think that would be better for creating a nice flow? Thanks!

No, As the straws get smaller for the same given flow the Reyonlds # gets bigger, which would result in less laminar flow.
