I love making lures but I can't find a good way to clear coat them! I use a polyurethane but that rubs off eventually. I was thinking of using the UV stuff that you use but I don't know what brand or style it is?

What of you made a multi-jointed bait, like 6 different joints, that's still small enough to be practical and each joint is a different wood. Like a Frankenstein bait. This is gonna get lost in the comments but just an idea

Just wondering, have you ever thought about makin a vibrax style bait? Look the pacific west coast (yeah thats redundant, i mean north of washington) is DOMINATED by over complicated and over priced spinners. TBH they are about half as effective as they should be. If you dabbled even for a couple weeks, im honestly betting youll produce better baits than these huge companies appealing to people rather than the fish. I say this knowing you are damned good at what you do. Seriously wishing that some one who WANTS to catch fish, rather than just sell lures, takes a bit of time and puts an effective and accessible bait onto the market.

I miss chasing smile rockets.dont have them down here in Florida. Got chain pickerel but I've not caught one and they're really small. Not heard of them being over 2 lbs so nothing like what you get up there in the Midwest. I miss chasing 15-20 lbers in Northern Iowa and Central Minnesota where I grew up.
