Great video. I manage to pick up one of the Lotus Evija Supers at Wal-Mart. I think the Supra is my favorite though.

Really into the 935--nice dark blue spectraflame with the stock livery and appropriate wheel choice. Obviously not into the Batmobile. Shouldn't have been a Super and wasted a spot in this year's roster.

The mustang this year is a bit underrated. The purple looks really good.

The Glory Chaser is a great homage to the early Can Am cars and that era that it takes a collector snob to not like the casting. It's just SO well done- it has elements of the old McLaren Elva, Jim Hall's Chaparral pre- rear spoiler race cars, and so many others of that era that you could tell someone who's just learning about vintage racing that the Glory Chaser was driven by Sterling Moss at Le Mans and no one would question you. It's just that well done.

Volvo drift wagon is wild. Love the green and mismatched wheels.. awesome

I love the tuned Batmobile, but I feel this red didn't work for me. Not my most disappointing. Not by a long shot, but I feel spectra flame gold, antifreeze green or just spectra black would have fitted the casting better. STH or not that Mazda Coupe looks odd without it's detailed front and rear fenders. The Renault was an STH I found on the pegs so it holds a special place in my heart. Gas Monkey is a top contender for my top STH for 2023. Any car with Flames gets top tier level. Not a JDM guy, but man that Toy Supra was boss. It looks mean and menacing. Totally my style. Wanna see one in gloss black for 2024. That Selby rocks. Found the Cyclone and it's another contender for me. Total beast. I like the Datsun because of the color they chose, but I would love any Hot Wheels casting in Hot Pink.

Best for me is the Lotus Evija, worst is easily the Tooned Batmobile and it’s not even close

For best Id say the Supra. I'm not a Supra fanboy but the model has a great sculpt, good color separation, and one of my favorite wheels. It came out strong for its debut. Worst is the 300 SL, just because of the over saturation of the car. Car culture, mainline + STH, Elite 64, and RLC all within like a year.

Man that Volvo Drift Wagon looks so nice 👏🏻 surely it won’t win, but they have a great casting there!!

Personally, I felt 2023 STH's were disappointing compared to the last few years. So many other castings could've been selected and used. And making fantasy castings into Supers was just poor decision making. That toon'd Batmobile was just awful. Hopefully 2024 had a better selection.

I've never found any super in my whole "hunt" career 😔 Don't know what's going on with them, but it seems here in Europe... it's a myth. Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia.. all of them and more have the same troubles finding them. We have quite a large HW community in Croatia, but supers are mythological things by us.

I actually own two Super Treasure Hunts for the year of 2023. Those castings is the 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone Gasser Super Treasure Hunt Edition and Glory Chaser Super Treasure Hunt Edition.

not a jdm collector, but the supra and 510 are my favourites this year.

Mr. Lamley,🏁I have 6 Supers from 2023 and my Favorites are first the 69 Shelby GT 500, then the Renault Sport RS 01, but the real Surprise was that Datsun 510 wagon! I got lucky and found it! Wow, I see what all the hype is about on this one! Everything about it is Amazing! I also want to find the Gas Monkey Vett but missed out on it as well as the Porsche 935 that one is the one that I was really after but never found it, but I did find 2 Mercedes 300s, a 67Camaro and a cyclone gasser. Least favorite, Camaro.PuzziCat☮️

I love the bluebird! That’s definitely my favorite. But the one I don’t like is that copo comaro. I just am not a fan of that scheme to say the most disappointing would be the Mazda. To say I am NOT a fan of it.

The most disappointing super for me is the Renault. Deco Looks too fantasy for me and I’m definitely not a fan of the lace wheels. I’m still trying to choose my favorite of the year. Stuck with the supra and 510

so many cool ones! from the mighty K to the super clean presentation of the lotus, my fave has to be the supra though, but thats probably due to my personal connection to the mk2 supra chassis

Its between the lotus and the 935 for best for me. Both super clean. Worst is the batmobile. Dont care for tooned cars and dont car about batmobiles so its the one i was most ehh about

imo the evija is the best one for this year. Looks really great being as a 1:64 scaled.

I wish i was able to find a STH i have a hard time finding TH as it is. But i think I might have seen the super Mazda Cosmo possibly when i fist started collecting at the start of the year but of course i had no idea then

There isn't a "most disappointing" vote for the super treasure hunts, but for me it would easily be the '82 Toyota Supra. This is one of my favorite cars from the 80s, but HW really botched it here. The proportions are so bad I have a hard time recognizing it as a Supra. I'm really looking forward to the one being released by AutoWorld. They got it right.

The Lotus Evija and the Toyota Supra STH were the best this year hands down.

Online is the only place i will ever get to see a treasure hunt...considering our local discount store staff remove them before they go in the shop...leaving only the rubbish for us to pick through...they keep them for themselves...Yes Big W the hot wheels fans are on to you !!!

The cartoon Batmobile is by FAR the worst of the year. Silly cartoon proportions and it's not even black. It's a $10 super at BEST

OK, maybe it's going to be tough deciding on the worst Super between the Supra and Volvo. A Volvo 240 Wagon is definitely something to get me excited... that is until we got this trash. This model went from something I was highly anticipating to a casting that makes my stomach turn. They need to smash the tooling for this casting and not look back. Horrible, horrible garbage!

I don't really get excited for the Super Treasure Hunt poll. I mean none of these have much meaning to me. Obviously, Super Treasure Hunts aren't anything I collect. The cost of entry is just way too high and I'd much rather put those funds to better use for more detailed models, such as paying 3x SRP for Car Culture online.

I started collecting hot wheels for my oldest son when he was a year old. It got too overwhelming so I collected from 1995 to about 2004. 24 cases that he played with and about 1200 cars that I never opened with maybe 10 treasure hunt cars unopened. I collected basicly uninformed on what to look for or what any were worth. Just did it for the fun of collecting. Here is my question, I've always noticed that hot wheels are always packaged in the same direction (back of car on left and front on the right so I have one from the 90s instead of back on left front on right, it's facing the opposite direction. Is this odd to see when hot wheels are packaged?

I know a lot of people will be voting the bat mobile for “worst” but I think it’s great simply because of how big the wheels are. Since the wheels are so big, hotwheels needed to use a lot more rubber to make the super treasure hunt, so I think this model is much more valuable than it may initially appear. Now, that may not sound like much, but this is hotwheels we’re talking about here; the company who is so concerned about their expenses that they hardly ever put brake light deco on the cars that hardly even have any deco in the first place. I just like seeing any time hotwheels takes a financial risk as it shows how the company is willing to put their money at stake to make something special.

Wow..... I gotta be honest, I was very excited for a video like last year, comparing them to the previous year. But, still, nice!

Hands down the Batmobile was the absolute worst. Possibly ever. So sick of Hot Wheels even doing so many Batmobiles let alone a STH As far as the best it's close between the Supra and the Bluebird but I give the edge to the Bluebird for the color and decos.

The Batmobile was a bad choice from Mattel. They could have chosen a better one from that case. The colour and the wheels are not that bad but still. The second car which i don't really like is the cosmo. The wheels are way too narrow compared to the regular one. As for the best ones, for me the Renault takes the victory because I managed to find it and it is my first sth. The 935 is a very cool one. It not differs much from the regular one but the colour the deco the wheels are really work together.

Top 5 1. Porsche 935 (best top pick, both basic version and $uper version are amazing) 2. '82 Supra (awesome retool, both basic and $uper are awesome) 3. Renault Sport RS 01 (nice to have a Renault back in the mainline) 4. Lotus Evija (awesome $uper) 5. '65 Mercury Super Cyclone (awesome to have a big casting as a $uper) Honorable Mentions 1. Gas Monkey Garage Corvette (not the biggest fan of the basic, but the $uper is stellar) 2. Mighty K (awesome casting, worthy tribute to Ryu Asada) 3. '69 Ford Shelby GT-500 (awesome model, love the purple) Underwhelming 1. Volvo 240 Drift Wagon (awesome casting, but unimpressed by the liveries) 2. Datsun 510 Bluebird (like the $uper more than the basic, but we have seen this casting a lot, and something different would have been nice, like the Classic Nomad) 3. '68 Mazda Cosmo Sport (cool orange colour, weird casting) 4. Glory Chaser (like the casting and the Gulf liveries, but the BMW I8 roadster should have been the $uper) 5. Mercedes-Benz 300SL (same as the Datsun, cool model, but something different would have been nice, like the '88 Pro Street Thunderbird) Worst 1. Tooned Batmobile (worst top pick, all of the things collectors DON'T want: a batmobile, and a TOONED one at that) 2. '68 COPO Camaro (cool model, not sure why it had to be an Art Cars model as a $uper Treasure Hunt, when it could have been anywhere else, like HW Dream Garage) Overall, had higher hopes for 2023. 2024 looks more promising in terms of both $upers and Regular Treasure Hunts.

I personally like the Mercedes 300. I want a real one so the choice was easy

MaryAnn, loves her Batmobiels, well done for a Tooned casting. I found it for her in the wild, as well as a Glory Chaser, Mazda Cozmo 2, Mercedes SL 2, in the Wild, we won't see the rest until next year. Hahaha! The Supra gets my vote. Cheers!

The Supra by far is the BEST for me, but that Cyclone would have to my worst! This is the first year to where I actually found EVERY STH in the wild, so seeing them w my own eyes makes voting easier!

I managed to find the Batmobile (which I left) Glory Chaser,and two Bluebird 510s in store this year. Would of liked to find the Supra and the Mighty K

Im going to be 100% biased with this one & have voted for the Lotus Evija...why? Well for starters I like Lotus models & been collecting years, plus I love that red Candyapple colour, plus the wheels remind me of those on the blue Huracan twin pack model. Secondly, I live in the same English county of Norfolk where Lotus are based & am old enough to remember when the company had a successful F1 team. Thirdly the real car is ridiculously fast & typically of Lotus, quite a lairy machine. But finally, its the only STH that Ive found this year, when i discovered one on September 28th. Oddly though I was in the same shop on November the 1st, looking through the pegs, see a dark red Lotus & holy smokes, it was another STH. Something ive never done is find 2 Supers before in the same year, nevermind the exact same model!!

I found the Batmobile, Evija, Cosmo, Renault, Datsun, and Volvo. My favorite is probably the Datsun. Such a glorious difference from the regular. Least favorite is probably the Cyclone (not really into gassers) or Batmobile (tooned seems a little too silly for a STH).

I’ve been watching your channel for years and you give us fans some great content about upcoming model cars. I just got one not long ago off eBay that didn’t come cheap….a Tomica VeilSide FD RX-7. What are your thoughts on that casting?

The Volvo is my winner because it's not Japanese, notGerman, not a supercar, and not a US classic or muscle-/ponycar.

The best was the Gulf Glory Chaser followed close by the Supra ... Worst im sure everyone will say its the tooned Batmobile....

Actually found the Mercedes STH in a grocery store with the regular right next it. Who ever stocked it, knew it was different

I give my vote to either the Renault Sport RS01 (my first sth and my favorite car in general) or the Mercedes 300SL
