Always interesting to see how others organize or display their collection. I do mine by make and alphabetical but i leave makes with parent company together. For example, all my datsuns and nissans are together. All my vws, porsches and audis are together, all my fords and mercurys are together etc.
Oh god both dragstrip demons and the Ferris Bueller Ferrari....sooo jealous. Had a chance to get those back in the early 2000s, had a hobby store near me that sold hotwheels along with model kits, ugh wish I bought more. I do have some cool dragstrip demons from around 2008...
Wow Nice! My wife is starting to see why I lov hot wheels she sees the beauty in them now. It's taking years but she don't yell me about buying them anymore lol! Keep doing what u do lov your video's

Amazing, That is alot of diecast my friend. All the guys I know that end up with massive amounts of cars end up looking to trim the collection. I try so hard to be pick about what I grab but it can be really hard because there are so many cool cars out there. My collections currently sits at less then 1000 cars and I am hoping to keep it that way due to space as well as trying to appreciate what I have.
You curate pretty much the same way I've been doing for decades, using see-through jammers for the non-displayed cars, by 1:1 brands (Ford, GM Pickups, Volkswagen vans, etc...). Except I don't have a display room yet. I will be changing that format soon, as I have stopped sorting by 1:1 brands, eliminating everything non-Hot Wheels from my future purchases (but keeping what I have so fat, which is quite a lot). So most of the content in my jammers will be re-shuffled as toy brands (Matchbox, Siku, Solido, Majorette, Maisto, Tomica, Hot Wheels, etc), and find a shelf for those, as I don't think I'll have enough wall or cabinet real estate to display them. All of my display space will be prioritized for Hot Wheels cars, art and playsets. I hope to start building my collection room by early 2023. Thank you for sharing the collection room.

Wow, I had just did a search not long ago looking to see how you displayed your collection. I knew I'd be impressed with not only the collection, but the cases you have chosen to display them in. Very impressive.
Just gotta say props on how organized your stuff is. I’m impressed and jealous beats my toss it in an 18 gallon tote and guess what it stored where system lol.
What's more valuable all the Diecast cars or all those Creative Options thread storage containers. 🤣😂 Plus you can't even find them right now and when you do there getting like $18.99 - $24.99 Each. Anyways , that is one Sweet Collection for sure 😎👍
Excellent on the continuing display expansion, I think I first saw the white background Carney cases here a couple years ago, nice option vs mirrored. I understand opening all the Plano cases would be a hassle, at least without an assistant, but holy cow, filming of cars behind the clouded obstruction of a sheet of Plano plastic is painful. That's as a Plano case owner, they serve a purpose. Thank you.
Hi John .great collection there.I still have lots of cars I collected since when I was17 years old.all in my cases.about 24 cases by my room.I have storage boxes out in the sheds. And other places also.it's an expensive hobbie.and model cars and trucks to.and Danbury mint cars.and trains.trains in boxes to.I don't run the trains.at all.and reel to reel tape recorders.from ohio.
I used to collect Hotwheels/Matchbox but thankfully, I defeated my addiction and can just stroll thru toy aisles without the impulse to buy them. Main reason I quit is because I got tired of buying them/admiring them and then stored them in the box somewhere and would rarely see lights again. Just don't have the space to display them really. Have like about 8 huge boxes, and all are still on packages.
U are my role model in diecast. I collect them too. I collect such of few brands like HW.. MBX.. Majo.. Tomica.. Siku.. GL .. etc. N quite fun when we are hunting collectibles. Btw.. whats new in 2021 sir.. get a new room tour again.. hehehe 😊

So a few questions for you if you don’t mind my asking? I take it you’re not a completist on castings? Where do you get your display turner wheel? Will you sell extras on like eBay or online somewhere? Do you collect older off brands of diecast like zlymex/kidco/kenner/tootsie/yat ming etc...Finally just an estimate how many diecast do you have & are you into other scales. BTW welcome back I missed your videos, but totally understand needing a break. 😬😬😬 Where did you get the shelves that are holding the jammer cases?
Go to JoAnn Fabric. They have these cases and they are $8.99 vs. $14 on Amazon. JoAnn's regular price is $15 and they are always 40% off. You have to go into the store to get them, but to save $5 ea. so it's worth it. It equals buy two get one free vs. Amazon.

I love the collection lamely, however you are missing out on larger scales like 1:43 and 1:18, I mainly collect 1:43 due to space issues now, and details are out of this world, they’re just expensive as hell, for reference I have one shelf full of 160 1:43 scales, on average a car is roughly 120$ or 140$, that’s nearly 20 grand right there, and does not even touch base on my 895 1:64 scales or 200 1:18 scales, my watch collection or my retro jordan sneaker collection, I’d love to do a collection video showcasing my man cave, even some of my gfs collection is in it. However like I said, I love your collection, but you need more variety. I do give it a 10/10 though for presentation and the sheer abundance of it all.

You can get them on ebay and I believe on their site as well. I buy the 99 car tilted mirror back ones. It's cool to see the cars at that angle plus, as far as i know, it's the only display case they make with a "lip" so when you need to open it the cars don't want to fall out. I regret the mirror back but I didn't look to see if it's made in white. The cars were closer in my last "man diecast cave" so I could see the cars really well but they are further away now and i have to get up and go over to see a certain car as the mirror back is working against me now. Hope this helps. Oh and make sure your walls are flat before just putting them up.. you can very easily break the plastic.I have to use shims on most of mine.
