Can't be any pricier than the '62 Chevy pickups that maintain their values. I have around a dozen and their value has popped up in the last 8yrs. Ones with surfboards in the flatbed esp, as they have more metal.
I really wish hot wheels would just raise the price a little bit in order to put headlights and tail lights on every single car to compensate the extra work and ink or whatever it is they use.
Better than that, I wish they realized that they're currently THE ONLY brand not making lights out of acrilic. Even Majorette does that ffs. Mattel REALLY need to pick up the pace, it's getting embarassing.
@@ORIGINALDAJJ No they do not lmfao not even on RLC which is currently their most expensive line. Mattel premium lines are just basic lines with clear coat over the bad printed graphics.
I asked that question recently as there doesnt seem any rhyme or reason as to how detailed the mainlines are. For example take a look at the recent release of the Honda Civic SI (white with black hood or gold with a black hood). Both versions have lights and badge detailing both on the front and the rear of the car....these detals make so much difference. Some people will say just trade up to the premiums but over here in the UK, the premium cars are around 6 times the price of a mainline which then becomes a drain on the wallet.
the blue one at 26:04 is from The Hot Ones 2012 , the yellow Fire Rod is listed as Toys R' Us 2009 , Cop Rods was Target , Military Rods was Wal-Mart ,
You can literally put a down payment for a house here in Brazil if you consider the value of this collection in Brazilian Reais. That green one alone can buy you a real car lol. Stunning to see them all together like that!
I wished just once Hot Wheels would go to to their vintage wheels from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s and I'm not referring to the Hot Ones I sometimes see at Target.
A Magnus showcase would be interesting. (My only question is: if you know you won’t keep the new Magnus Walker 993, why even open it? You can just wave it in front of the camera then give it away carded.)
@@Yourmission9 something i noticed BTW, is that a lot of the truck casting just arent as popular in general over here in europe. maybe because we dont really see them on the road over here
@@Yourmission9 ahh okay! good on ya, collecting what you like is always the better motivation than just getting something because its ''rare'' or hyped. at least thats how i collect.
Imagine that, Mattel sends you all the free stuff you want, you get paid to hype it up on RU-vid and then jump on whatnot to sell it all and create a feeding frenzy... What an ingenious idea, influencers got the best job ever... How much does Mattel pay you? $5000 worth of 🤮... Clickbait mfer
