Thank you for uploading the full show! I really enjoyed it from Japan, as if I were there. The band Lamp’s performance was amazing, and it felt like the people of Toronto were thrilled by the fact that Lamp is real. Toronto must be a memorable place for them now, so look forward to their next concert!
Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts and support for Lamp and for the people of Toronto! It's very much appreciated! There is an overwhelming number of amazing bands from your country, each with their own unique and distinct charm and sound. I consider you to be very fortunate to have such easy access to witness these talented artists. Some of the bands that I have yet to see live and that I would love to see make their way to Toronto are: Sokoninaru, Hitsujibungaku, NEK!, TRiDENT, Burnout Syndromes, and f5ve (just to name a small few!)
Sesipro, thank you so much for your excellent work. You already uploaded 2 concerts that Ive been to... and always great, saving the amazing time that I lived - I appreciate that
That's great to hear! Hopefully there will be more matching shows that I'll capture for your viewing pleasure in the future. Thanks for your wonderful feedback, I truly appreciate it! 🫶 Btw which was the other concert?
@@sesipro The other one was Ichiko Aoba in Montréal. This year I kind of went broke traveling from Nova Scotia to Toronto and Montréal but WORTH IT A LOOOTTTT hahaha - thank you stay safe & well
thank you! 😀 it's quite a rare event when bands from Japan visit Canadian cities and with how even more rare it is for a Lamp tour to happen, this might be the only opportunity we ever get to see them, so it was a must to capture the show for us all to relive it! 🫶
It's my pleasure, thank you for taking the time to watch & comment! I arrived at the venue over 2 hours before doors opened and the line was already wrapped around the block. The length of the line as doors opened for this sold out show was quite impressive. Many passersby asked who we were waiting for so the word of Lamp quickly spread like wildfire 🔥 😄
Thanks for the upload! I saw them in Chicago, it was amazing! They sounded really good in Toronto based off this! I think they must have turned Kaori's mic up halfway through cause she started to come through a lot better and it really enlivened things. She sounded stunning on Yume Utsutsu. They sounded really tight on songs like Hiyayakane Jokei and others, you could tell they were feeling it. Your set was very similar to ours. We got to hear Yokaze & if I'm not mistaken Rainy Tapestry. I don't recall if we heard Windy Afternoon or not. I'm really glad we both got to hear at least one song off the new album, at least one song off of Her Watch, and we even got two songs off of Utopia Tsushin and Yume. Sachiko is my favorite song ever, it sounded lovely here. Raindrop City was never one of my favorite songs of theirs but this live rendition is sooo good, its been in my head ever since, it might of been my favorite song of the night in Chicago. Behind the Moon Shadow had a really cool live rendition as well. Crazy to see all these people just loosing their minds, where'd all these Lamp fans come from? lol. Btw, them walking off during the trumpet solo was the coldest shit I've ever seen lmao, what a great encore. Well anyways, thanks again for the upload. I hope you enjoyed the show!
The only difference in the setlist between Chicago & Toronto was the 4th song, you guys got Night Wind while we got Windy Afternoon. Everything else was identical. I can really sense your passion for their music, thanks so much for your cool comment and for watching! 👍
The trumpet + flute duet parts in Sachiko are so good. In the original arrangement of the intro it's two flutes. They also replaced the vocal harmony part at 1:03:42 I'm also happy Kaori finally sang the legendary intro of Hiyayakana Jokei. Such a great song with an interesting rhythm. I just wish they did the electric guitar part at the end
Thank you for uploading I’d be there at the Seattle show! Just wondering if you know any information about buying the for lover LP merch at the show (would it be sold out quickly do we need to arrive extra early in order to get one) thank you so so much!
If you only have GA ticket and merch is a high priority, I'd say get there early. I prioritized venue position over merch, so after the show ended, the only items left were the black&white Lamp tour date shirts (in limited sizes). Everything else (other shirts, cd, vinyl) was sold out.
Hello!! I was able to hand Kaori a small keychain during the A Frosty Scene performance!! I didn't get to grab a video while it was happening, by chance did you record that moment?
If you handed it to her during the performance, then whatever you see uploaded is what I recorded. I checked the brief footage I had while they stopped to attend the person who fainted and I didn't see any such event with Kaori, sorry
@@warpatato when somebody suddenly collapses, you just don't know what the cause is. thankfully the people in both incidents were able to recover fairly quickly with nobody having to use a medical stretcher.
