In a world where men kill others in wars , dominations , for power and to control others. We are still looking for forgiveness and to forgive ourselves for being so evil . Thank you Dalai Lama for the bridge you make between good and evil . A chance for humanity for redemption ☝️☝️☝️

as I listen to the questions afterwards.. I keep coming back to the ancient Chinese recipe for personal happiness... the Don't Monkeys... See... hear... speak.. no evil it's a great recipe.. because it works in both directions Speak... hear .... see... no evil but the central one is always hearing .. in a moral question... what is moral with you and your family may differ from mine ... the question is not what that other guy over there is doing... maybe you have noticed that.. they do what they do... whether we like it... or not so personal happiness is part of... self government... self government doesn't mean telling other people what to do.. self government is self explanatory... my own expectations have everything to do with this... my own desires and motivations have everything to do with... my own personal happiness... in physics... positive reinforcement brings ==>> duration... negative reinforcement does not I think this is true for our thoughts and ideas.. and our words... and deeds this entire lecture by His Holiness is about positive reinforcement.. for ourselves.. and the folks around us it's actually... I think... pretty simple be nice you will be glad you did wasalaamalaikum
This so-called "religious leader" teaches children that it does not matter whether you believe in God or not, so the head of the world's *fourth largest religion* is an atheist. Too crazy for words, he is a confused old man who knows nothing about Buddhism. Just another power mongering politician with too much money.
Muito obrigado pelos seus videos e pela sua presença na Terra. Eu gosto muito de você e aprendo muito consigo. Eu considero você meu mestre e guia. Um abraço para si Sua Santidade. Eu amo você.
About a thousand years ago, Dipankar Srigyan (Atish), a great Bengali scholar and yogi from then India and present-day Bangladesh, was invited to Tibet to re-establish Buddhism, which had been suppressed and corrupted for nearly two centuries. One of Atisha's major achievements in Tibet was his main text, the 'Bodhi-Path-Pradeep' or Lamp for the Path of Enlightenment, where he summarized all 84,000 teachings of the Buddha and organized them into a clear, step-by-step system that would allow any individual practitioner to understand and practice religion. Makes it easy to do. This branch of education is known as lam-rim, or step of the path, and became an essential part of every school of Tibetan Buddhism.

"What has happened for thousands of years is that populations, collective humanity, have lower levels of education, knowledge, lower intelligence because it is not developed through acquisition of knowledge (they are modes of ignorance), internal states, regions of the being, of each collective human being who is imprisoned in lower degrees of knowledge."
