The smaller companies are closing in on the latency numbers of the big guys. I guess these universal firmwares are helping. I wonder where the ULX is going to land on latency, I'm assuming they use a proprietary firmware although didn't the UL2 use DM1 firmware? Also wondering with the GPX 2k vs Razer 4k.

I'm still seeing the same issues with polling stability even after the firmware updates. Similar to your initial results. I am using the black 4K dongle that is bundled with the black mini. Edit: 2023.08.25 dongle firmware update resolved my issues.
@@hausgaming I am already aware and I have tried minimizing the possibility of interference as much as possible. Also configured bios and windows to minimize bloat/power saving. Long Distance mode ON. Nothing seems to change the results. There is a possibility that it is due to interference still, but I have seen people have varying results using different G-wolves dongles also. Which dongle did you use for the results? Would be odd if the internals were any different, but I would still like to know.
@@shrimpss Did you try with long distance mode disabled and the dongle in about 15-30cm distance from the mouse? I heard from another tester that long distance mode could cause issues! I used both, the black dongle and the dongle with the weird blue/white/black artwork
Would you recommend this mouse or the Pulsar X2V2 that just came out? I can't choose between these two mice since they are really similar. Shape doesn't matter much to me as I've tried similar shapes to both mice.
I might have to break mine out again and update the firmware. I was having all sorts of issues with signal quality, it was real bad, worse than any other mouse I've tried. Hopefully the firmware update helps somewhat with that.
Interference could be a culprit, make sure not to have a router on your desk or near your system. Do not hold phone next to the dongle/mouse. Limiting 2.4ghz devices near 4K mice is a must!
@@hausgaming Good advice. I have far too many mice hooked up at once, GPX, HTX, Viper Mini SE, Kysona, Series 1 Pro, and Viper Pro V2. Then I have my wireless headset, an Xbox adapter, and Bluetooth receiver. I don't hold anything against the Lamzu for struggling in that environment, it's just the only mouse to do so.

Can 100 percent agree that the Atlantis isnt the best shape for a relaxed claw especially with larger hands . i have 19.5x 11 hands and it took me a month of off and on use to get comfortable with mouse ( couldve have taking me so long because i was adjusting from maining ergo styled mice ) if u have medium to smaller hands i would say its still a great shape for relaxed claw along as the sloped sides don't bother you much
@Syronlol if u like smaller mice I’d say go with the Lamzu Atlantis mini tbh but the regular size will prolly still work fine if u want a slightly bigger mouse
Hey just curious i see that you always post the lowest latency on mice so do you use the Wooting 60HE at the lowest actuation pts? Also, are you going to post a Thorn review? Nice update. I wish the dongle was 4k compatible with the original Lamzu mini.

@@hausgamingwhat shape do you like and which mouse? I've got the Atlantis OG V2 Pro on the way so hopefully the shape doesn't bother me. My current daily mouse is the gpx superlight which I like a lot though it is a little uncomfortable at times since i have a 20x10 cm hand.
You can see the numbers, but RAZER is always more fool proof in terms of consistency and reliability. On my system without any interference, I do not feel any difference though.
Hi i have a little question. I am hesitating between the asus rog harpe ace aimlab, the lamzu atlantis mini 4k and the pulsar x2v2. Which one is better (lattency....) Based on the fact that the rog is 120 and not 159 anymore.
Any tips for relaxed claw wireless mouse? Currently using GPX Superlight but would like to try a bit different shape (GPX shape is like 8/10 for me), have medium sized hands (17,5x11cm).
@@hausgaming I can't decide between Lamzu Atlantis or X2V2. My perfect mouse would be like 5-10% smaller than GPX and humb more towards the rear end, hump on GPX is really mid heavy. Thanks a lot!
idk if this helps but I enjoy GPX shape way more than Razer Viper but RVM is borderline small for me (I can play with it but I feel a bit more comfortable with GPX size - even tho I feell like I could play with something a bit smaller even better).
What would you recommend for someone who uses relaxed claw, loved the g305 (apart from the weight), but didn’t like either the G Pro Wireless/Superlight/Viper 8k shape? I’m trying to gauge what might be a good fit for me but it’s so difficult without being able to test before you buy.
@@hausgaming bought a viper v2 pro, hated it because no hump. I think I’ll give the OP1we a try next, thanks for the suggestion. :) finding something that fits perfectly is a nightmare!
It's nice to see them doing firmware updates and improving latency but I'd still chose razer or logitech over lamzu or pulsar. Razer and logitechs 1khz mice are about as expensive as lamzus or pulsars 4khz mice with the dongle and have about the same latency. And if they got about the same latency 1khz is better because you won't have compatability issues and higher CPU usage that you can have with 4khz. Also with razer mice you can buy the 4khz dongle later to improve the latency further. But I personally haven't even switched to wireless. 8khz + paracord is less latency and cheaper. The paracord wire doesn't bother me so I didn't feel the need to spend extra for wireless when I upgraded to a DAV3.
