I really wish we could have seen Lan Zhan bringing a sick child, who was not only a Wen, but someone connected to WWX, home, and explaining it to his uncle. I bet uncle "humphed" all the time until ayuan hugged his leg. And from that day he became a Lan. 😉

@@Pad929 I would have loved to have seen Yuan hug Clan Leader Lan's leg and have him looking down and seeing those adorable eyes looking up at him. As you said, he would of "humphed" and then told Lan Zhan to get the child cleaned up and that he was now Lan Zhan's complete responsibility.

You know what’s more deviating the fact that lan zhan named him Sizhui - which means to long for - that broke my heart that he longed for wei WuXian so he named the one thing they had left together such a beautiful and meaningful name

And there's also the fact that Wei Ying gave Jin Ling the courtesy name RuLan cuz on some subconscious level he was thinking of Lan Zhan. The two juniors are literally running around with names that came from mutual pining between two dense idiots. (Then Jiang Cheng getting pissed off for Jin Ling's courtesy name because Wei Ying was THAT dense HAHAHAHA)

SiZhui is a combination of the words “Longing for” and “Finding”. His name is derived from a poetic line meaning: “Longing for you the one I cannot find.” Lan Zhan gave A Yuan this name just to show how much he loves and missed Wei Ying.

My biggest oversight watching this show the first time was not *immediately* realizing who Lan Sizhui was. 😂 It's not like they were subtle, hahaha. Also, when I finally did realize I definitely cried like a baby... just like this video is making want to cry, lol. 😭♥️

There are so many things one doesn't get the 1st time, you have to rewatch and discover new details every time. The last thing I discovered while rewatching was when WWX, JC and NHS got drunk in Cloud Recesses and LWJ caught them WWX made this weird movement with his fingers as he tugged on LWJ's sleeve. It was an innuendo for "cutsleeve" xD

The story of Yuan - later Lan Sizhui - is such a beautiful story ... in the midst of such a dazzling weave of engrossing narratives, i.e. The Untamed. Thanks for plucking out these scenes and assembling them with lovely music in this video. Yuan is a such a breath of innocence and honour, so noble and sweet - how could he not be, with those two fathers and Wen Ning at his side?
